철수가 여자친구와 같이 레스토랑에서 테이블을 기다리고 있는데 보스인 마크와 마크의 와이프를 만납니다. 그리고 이런 상황과 대화는 동반으로 결혼식, 파티, 칵테일 파티, 해피아워를 갔을때에도 다 해당이 됩니다.
별로 중요한 상황은 아니라고 할 수도 있지만…매너라고나 할까요? 막상 이런 상황이 오면 뻘쭘할수도 있습니다. 그리고 상대방이 불쾌해 할수도 있거나 본인의 파트너가 불편해 할 수 도 있습니다.

철수와 마크는 파트너를 부릅니다.
중요한 점: 본인의 파트너 (와이프나 여친 아님 남편이나 남친)을 동료나 클라이언트에게 소개시키는 것입니다. 그리고 인사하면서 대화가 끊기지 않아야 합니다. 동료나 클라이언트가 소개 시켜주기 전에 언제 결혼하냐? 와이프냐? 여친이냐? 는 절대 물어보지 않는게 예의 입니다. 누구 누구 라고 상대방이 먼저 소개시킬때 까지 목례만 하는 것이 좋습니다. 그리고 꼭 자기의 파트너를 꼭 상대방과 상대방 파트너에 소개 시켜야합니다. (여러분 남친/여친/남편/와이프 한테도 알려주세요^^)

Young Hee: I was in the mood for a Sauvignon Blanc.
Mark: That’s an excellect choice for a day like this. And Chul soo?
Chul Soo: I would like to get a vodka tonic please?
Mark: Good choice. And, Nancy, what can I get you?
Nancy: What are you drinking Mark?
Mark: I was cravying for a glass of Merlot.
Nancy: Merlot sounds great. I will have that too.
Mark: Sure. Let me get the drinks for you.
Everybody: Thanks Mark.
