Art and performance booking service Sayho has opened a beta version of its service to the public.

The new O2O platform lets anyone book both performances and lessons from a variety of music and creative artists including DJs, dancers and photographers. Sayho has already been operating in closed beta since July last year which it used to collect feedback and gauge response from both artists and customers.

Artists can create their own profile pages and carry out transactions with customers directly through the website for free. For users of the service, registration and connecting with artists is also free, and you only need to pay the performance/lesson fee. Sayho says it doesn’t charge extra fees for transactions or registration to remove issues that competing services have experienced with fees and reverse auctions.

Other problems such as fake requests or wasted credit are also prevented through the company’s comprehensive matching system. In addition to this, Sayho is the first online platform to receive approval as a ‘Public Culture and Arts Planning Company’, which is required for brokering in the arts industry.

Kim In-ho, CEO of Sayho, says that the service will be one that provides artists with value and opportunities to earn income. Kim founded the startup with a team of four members that have more than ten years’ experience in the music industry, and the website currently boasts top quality singers and indie musicians.
