SecuLetter Receives 2 Billion Won Investment

To complete this investment, SecuLetter inquired many times about contracts, finances, and tax issues with lawyers and accountants from K-ICT Born2 Global Centre. SecuLetter also attended the ‘Go-To-Market Demonstration Day’ held by K-ICT Born2 Global Centre in May, where its information protection technology was recognized by the industry. SecuLetter had meetings with major Korean investors on this demonstration day.

SecuLetter representative Im Chaseong said, “In order to defend from high level hackers that current technology can’t protect against, we started this project. I’m very glad that SecuLetter’s technology itself is recognized and it can see further development. With the investment, we will plan carefully, and promote this malicious email code detection cloud technology in America.

Im Chaseong also said that compared to international competitors, SecuLetter showed excellent performance, with high detection rate, making SecuLetter an internationally competitive company. The key factor enhancing SecuLetter’s competitive power is its APT (Advanced Persistent Threat) blocking technology. Current behavior-based technology can hardly detect malicious code.

In daily life if you receive an email with malicious code, SecuLetter’s technology is able to detect APTs with reverse engineering before it affects you.

SecuLetter’s solution can be used with all enterprise emails. It is especially effective at protecting email services for major agencies, cloud service providers, major website developers, and enterprises.

With its exclusive detection technology, SecuLetter received investment only one year after its founding in September 2015. SecuLetter’s solution goes beyond current safety systems, and through static and dynamic analysis with mixed detection methods, it’s even possible to detect Zero-Day attacks.

Bron2 Global Center chairman Kim Jonggap said, “Internet safety is a serious issue in the world. SecuLetter solves it effectively in a safe way. We will help SecuLetter in various ways to enter the US and global market.”

Born2 Global Center ‘Go-To-Market Demonstration Day’ season 2 will be held on October 26th at Pangyo entrepreneurship school, offering the possibility to receive angel investment. Please visit the website for registration.
