Office and space sharing platform SpaceCloud has made it easier to find a place to work or set up a meeting with its new online reservation system.

Like many other space sharing websites, SpaceCloud offers space offices, business centers and coworking spaces. The platform also covers a wide range of other venues including recording and dance studios, workshops, party rooms and lecture halls. If there is a type of space you’re looking to rent, it’s a good chance SpaceCloud will have it listed.

Detailed information for each location, including photos and facilities available, is listed and can also be found via the Android and iOS apps. Costs are listed by our/day/month depending on the location, and it is now possible to book and pay for 200 spaces directly online.

According to coworking space research group Deskmag, there are approximately 13,800 coworking spaces and 1.18 million users around the world thanks to the rise in startups and freelancers. Asia especially has seen quick growth in the number of workspaces, with 500 such businesses currently operating in Korea.

SpaceCloud hopes to increase the number of spaces that it offers even further, and has set a goal of connecting with over 80% of the coworking market by the end of the year.

“We will work hard to create better city-centered work environments for curators, small project groups, and startups which are attracting attention as important economic entities,” says CEO Sue Hyun Jung.

SpaceCloud received investment from Naver at the beginning of last year, as well as providing strategic support that has helped accelerate the company.
