South East Asia based media platform and community e27 has announced the return of the TOP100 Powered by Echelon Connect, a program that searches for the most promising 100 pre-Series A startups in the Asia Pacific Region.

The TOP 100 program will begin alongside the Echelon Asia Summit in Singapore on June 28-29 2017, which is expected to attract crowds of 6,000 from around the region. This year, the program will continue through to the end of the year on e27’s in-house fundraising platform.

Startups in the program will receive four complimentary tickets for their team; two startup passes and two delegate passes. Exhibition booths will be located in the special TOP100 Zone and there will be a chance to pitch on stage and win prizes

“For the first time ever, Echelon Asia Summit will be transforming our TOP100 competition into a comprehensive fundraising program for selected pre series A startups,” says James Ong, Projects Executive at e27. “This program, which will be part of the 6,000 strong Echelon Asia Summit in June, aims to help startups looking to gain insights, connections, talent, or funding, with guaranteed private meetings with investors during our Echelon Connect.”

According to e27 over 400 startups have already applied to compete in the program, and registration is currently free and can be completed online here.
