벤처캐피탈 라플라스 파트너스가 주최하고 한국전자통신연구원(ETRI)가 주관하는 ‘라플라스×ETRI 딥테크 투자 포럼’이 오는 9월 11일 서울 강남구 역삼동 마루180에서 열린다. ‘딥테크 딥비전(Deep Tech Deep Vision)’을 부제로 한 이번 포럼은 첨단 기술 기반 스타트업 6개사가 국내 주요 벤처캐피탈 12개사 앞에서 직접 투자유치 피칭을 펼치는 자리다.
ETRI는 과학기술정보통신부 딥테크 스케일업 밸리 육성 사업으로 “차세대 지능형 반도체 적용 온디바이스 AI 스케일업 밸리 육성 사업”을 수행하고 있으며, 이 과제의 일환으로 투자업계와 기술창업 생태계가 한자리에 모이는 대규모 IR 행사를 마련할 전망이다.
이번 포럼에 참여하는 6개 기업은 각기 다른 첨단기술 분야에서 독보적인 기술력을 보유한 업체들로 선정됐다. 오전 세션에는 ▲호그린에어(수소 연료전지 드론 및 파워팩) ▲엔에이치네트웍스(스마트시티 ICT 솔루션) ▲위치스(AR/VR 메타버스 콘텐츠) 등 3개사가 발표한다.
오후 세션에서는 ▲긱프랜즈(IoT 스마트팜 솔루션) ▲닥터케이 헬스케어(디지털 헬스케어 플랫폼) ▲인트플로우(AI 기반 축산 데이터 분석) 등 3개사가 무대에 오른다. 각 기업은 15분간 투자유치 발표를 진행하며, 이후 VC들의 질의응답과 평가 시간이 별도로 마련된다. 이번 포럼에는 국내 대표 투자기관들 10여곳이 참석한다.
라플라스 파트너스 한인수 대표는 “딥테크 분야는 기술 개발에 오랜 시간이 걸리지만 일단 시장에 안착하면 높은 진입 장벽으로 지속 성장이 가능한 영역이어서 투자사들의 관심이 높다. 이번 포럼을 통해 ETRI의 차세대 지능형 반도체 기술을 적용한 각 기업의 기술력과 시장성을 직접 확인하고, 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖춘 기업들의 투자 유치가 이뤄지기를 기대한다”고 말했다.
ETRI 강현서 본부장은 “국산 NPU를 적용한 온디바이스 AI 응용 기술을 이번행사에 참여하는6개 기업에 기술이전을 추진하고 있으며, ETRI의 기술사업화 노하우와 라플라스의 투자 전문성이 만나 기술창업 생태계에 새로운 동력을 제공할 것”이라고 기대감을 나타냈다.

The 'Laplace x ETRI Deep Tech Investment Forum', hosted by venture capital firm Laplace Partners and organized by the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), will be held on September 11th at Maru 180 in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Subtitled 'Deep Tech Deep Vision,' the forum will feature six cutting-edge technology-based startups pitching their investments directly to 12 major domestic venture capital firms.
ETRI is carrying out the "Next-Generation Intelligent Semiconductor Application On-Device AI Scale-up Valley Development Project" as part of the Ministry of Science and ICT's Deep Tech Scale-up Valley Development Project, and as part of this project, it plans to hold a large-scale IR event that will bring together the investment industry and the technology startup ecosystem.
The six companies participating in this forum were selected for their unrivaled technological prowess in different cutting-edge fields. The morning session will feature presentations by three companies: Hogreen Air (hydrogen fuel cell drones and power packs), NH Networks (smart city ICT solutions), and Wychs (AR/VR metaverse content).
In the afternoon session, three companies will take the stage: Geek Friends (IoT smart farm solutions), Doctor K Healthcare (digital healthcare platform), and Inflow (AI-based livestock data analysis). Each company will present its investment proposal for 15 minutes, followed by a separate Q&A session with venture capitalists and a panel discussion. Approximately ten leading domestic investment firms will be attending this forum.
Han In-soo, CEO of Laplace Partners, said, "Deep tech requires a long time to develop, but once established in the market, it offers high barriers to entry and sustainable growth potential, so investors are showing strong interest. Through this forum, we hope to directly demonstrate the technological prowess and marketability of companies utilizing ETRI's next-generation intelligent semiconductor technology, and attract investment from globally competitive companies."
ETRI Headquarters Director Kang Hyeon-seo expressed his expectations, saying, “We are pursuing technology transfer of on-device AI application technology using domestically produced NPUs to six companies participating in this event. ETRI’s technology commercialization know-how and Laplace’s investment expertise will come together to provide new momentum to the technology startup ecosystem.”

ETRIは科学技術情報通信部ディープテックスケールアップバレー育成事業として「次世代インテリジェント半導体適用オンデバイスAIスケールアップバレー育成事業」を遂行しており、この課題の一環として投資業界と技術創業生態系が一堂に会する大規模なIRイベントを設ける見通しだ。

作为科学技术信息通信部深科技规模化谷发展项目的一部分，电子通信研究院正在实施“下一代智能半导体应用终端AI规模化谷发展项目”，作为该项目的一部分，电子通信研究院计划举办一场大型投资者关系活动，将投资行业和科技创业生态系统聚集在一起。
参加本次论坛的六家公司均因其在各个前沿领域无可匹敌的技术实力而入选。上午的会议将由三家公司进行演讲：Hogreen Air（氢燃料电池无人机和动力包）、NH Networks（智慧城市信息通信技术解决方案）以及Wychs（增强现实/虚拟现实元宇宙内容）。
下午的环节中，三家公司将依次登台：极客之友（物联网智能农场解决方案）、K医生医疗（数字医疗平台）和Inflow（基于人工智能的畜牧数据分析）。每家公司将有15分钟的时间进行投资方案陈述，随后将分别进行与风险投资家的问答环节和小组讨论。约有十家国内领先的投资机构将出席本次论坛。
Laplace Partners首席执行官韩仁洙表示：“尖端科技需要长时间的研发，但一旦在市场站稳脚跟，便拥有很高的准入门槛和可持续增长潜力，因此投资者表现出浓厚的兴趣。我们希望通过本次论坛，直接展示采用韩国电子通信研究院（ETRI）下一代智能半导体技术的公司的技术实力和市场潜力，并吸引全球具有竞争力的公司进行投资。”
韩国电子通信研究院（ETRI）总部主任姜贤瑞表达了他的期望，他说：“我们正在推进利用国产神经网络处理单元（NPU）进行终端人工智能应用技术转让，目标是向参与本次活动的六家公司进行技术转移。ETRI的技术商业化经验与拉普拉斯的投资专长相结合，将为科技创业生态系统注入新的活力。”

Le « Forum d'investissement Deep Tech Laplace x ETRI », organisé par la société de capital-risque Laplace Partners et l'Institut de recherche en électronique et télécommunications (ETRI), se tiendra le 11 septembre au Maru 180, dans le quartier de Yeoksam-dong, à Gangnam-gu (Séoul). Sous-titré « Deep Tech, Deep Vision », ce forum mettra en vedette six jeunes entreprises technologiques de pointe qui présenteront leurs projets d'investissement directement à douze grands fonds de capital-risque coréens.
L'ETRI mène le projet « Next-Generation Intelligent Semiconductor Application On-Device AI Scale-up Valley Development Project » dans le cadre du projet Deep Tech Scale-up Valley Development Project du ministère des Sciences et des TIC, et prévoit, dans le cadre de ce projet, d'organiser un événement de relations investisseurs à grande échelle qui réunira le secteur de l'investissement et l'écosystème des startups technologiques.
Les six entreprises participant à ce forum ont été sélectionnées pour leur expertise technologique inégalée dans différents domaines de pointe. La session du matin sera consacrée aux présentations de trois entreprises : Hogreen Air (drones et batteries à pile à combustible à hydrogène), NH Networks (solutions TIC pour villes intelligentes) et Wychs (contenus de métavers en réalité augmentée et virtuelle).
L'après-midi, trois entreprises prendront la parole : Geek Friends (solutions IoT pour l'agriculture intelligente), Doctor K Healthcare (plateforme de santé numérique) et Inflow (analyse de données d'élevage par IA). Chaque entreprise présentera son projet d'investissement pendant 15 minutes, suivies d'une séance de questions-réponses avec des investisseurs en capital-risque et d'une table ronde. Une dizaine de grandes sociétés d'investissement nationales participeront à ce forum.
Han In-soo, PDG de Laplace Partners, a déclaré : « Les technologies de pointe nécessitent un long développement, mais une fois implantées sur le marché, elles présentent des barrières à l’entrée élevées et un fort potentiel de croissance durable, ce qui explique le vif intérêt des investisseurs. Grâce à ce forum, nous espérons démontrer concrètement le savoir-faire technologique et la viabilité commerciale des entreprises utilisant la technologie de semi-conducteurs intelligents de nouvelle génération d’ETRI, et attirer des investissements d’entreprises compétitives à l’échelle mondiale. »
Le directeur du siège d'ETRI, Kang Hyeon-seo, a exprimé ses attentes : « Nous visons le transfert de technologie d'application d'IA embarquée utilisant des NPU de fabrication nationale à six entreprises participant à cet événement. Le savoir-faire d'ETRI en matière de commercialisation technologique et l'expertise de Laplace en matière d'investissement s'uniront pour donner un nouvel élan à l'écosystème des jeunes entreprises technologiques. »
