강원창조경제혁신센터(대표 이해정)는 26일 강원혁신센터 포레스트홀에서 ‘강원 AX 위원회’를 공식 출범하고, 강원 지역의 인공지능 전환(AI Transformation, 이하 AX) 생태계 구축을 위한 첫 행보에 나섰다고 밝혔다.
AX는 인공지능 기술을 산업 전반에 적용해 사업 모델을 효율화하고 혁신을 도모하는 전략으로, 최근 시장 수요와 정책적 관심이 빠르게 증가하고 있다. 중소벤처기업부는 중소기업의 AI 활용률을 2023년 28%에서 2027년까지 50%로 확대하고, 지역 주력 산업에 AX 기술을 확산하겠다는 계획을 밝힌 바 있다.
이 같은 정책적 흐름에 맞춰 출범한 ‘강원 AX 위원회’는 지역 내 관련 기관 간 협력 기반을 조성하고, 유망 스타트업 발굴과 기업 간 연계를 통해 산업 내 AI 전환을 촉진하는 것을 목표로 한다.
위원회는 강원특별자치도 산업국, 강원지방중소벤처기업청, 한림대학교 AI융합연구원, 강원대학교 강원지능화혁신센터, 강원테크노파크 강원디지털혁신센터, 강릉원주대학교 강원ICT융합연구원, 민간기업 더존비즈온, 지오비전, 지오멕스소프트, 더픽트 등 공공 및 민간 전문가 10여 명으로 구성됐다.
위원회는 정기 회의를 통해 지역 내 AI 기술 적용 사례를 공유하고, 실증 사업, 기업 지원, 인재 양성 등 다양한 전략과 실행 방안을 논의할 계획이다.
이해정 강원혁신센터 대표이사이자 위원회 위원장은 “이번 위원회 출범은 지역 스타트업의 경쟁력 강화는 물론, 강원 산업의 지속 가능한 성장 기반 마련에 중요한 역할을 할 것”이라며 “관계 기관과의 긴밀한 협력을 통해 지역 AX 생태계 활성화에 기여하겠다”고 말했다.

Gangwon Innovation Center Launches 'Gangwon AX Committee'
Gangwon Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Hae-Jeong Lee) announced on the 26th that it officially launched the 'Gangwon AX Committee' at the Gangwon Innovation Center Forest Hall and took the first step toward building an artificial intelligence transformation (AI Transformation, hereinafter referred to as AX) ecosystem in the Gangwon region.
AX is a strategy that applies AI technology across industries to streamline business models and foster innovation. It has recently seen rapid growth in market demand and policy interest. The Ministry of SMEs and Startups has announced plans to increase AI utilization among SMEs from 28% in 2023 to 50% by 2027 and to expand AX technology to key regional industries.
Launched in line with this policy trend, the Gangwon AX Committee aims to foster a foundation for cooperation among relevant organizations within the region and to promote AI transformation within the industry by discovering promising startups and fostering connections between companies.
The committee is comprised of approximately 10 public and private experts, including the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Industry Bureau, Gangwon Regional SMEs and Startups Agency, Hallym University AI Convergence Research Institute, Kangwon National University Gangwon Intelligence Innovation Center, Gangwon Technopark Gangwon Digital Innovation Center, Kangneung-Wonju National University Gangwon ICT Convergence Research Institute, and private companies Thezone Biz On, Geovision, Geomax Soft, and The Pick.
The committee plans to share examples of AI technology application in the region through regular meetings and discuss various strategies and implementation plans, including demonstration projects, corporate support, and talent development.
“The launch of this committee will play a significant role in strengthening the competitiveness of local startups and establishing a foundation for sustainable growth for Gangwon industries,” said Lee Hae-jeong, CEO and committee chair of the Gangwon Innovation Center. “We will contribute to revitalizing the local AX ecosystem through close cooperation with relevant organizations.”

委員会は江原特別自治道産業局、江原地方中小ベンチャー企業庁、韓林大学AI融合研究院、江原大学江原知能化革新センター、江原テクノパーク江原デジタル革新センター、江陵原州大学江原ICT融合研究院、民間企業ジビス、公共および民間専門家10人余りで構成された。
委員会は定期会議を通じて地域内のAI技術適用事例を共有し、実証事業、企業支援、人材養成など多様な戦略と実行方案を議論する計画だ。
イ・ジョンジョン江原革新センター代表理事であり委員会委員長は「今回の委員会の発足は地域スタートアップの競争力強化はもちろん、江原産業の持続可能な成長基盤づくりに重要な役割を果たすだろう」とし「関係機関との緊密な協力を通じて地域ＡＸエコシステムの活性化に寄与する」と話した。

Le Centre d'innovation de Gangwon lance le « Comité AX de Gangwon »
Le Gangwon Creative Economy Innovation Center (PDG Hae-Jeong Lee) a annoncé le 26 qu'il avait officiellement lancé le « Gangwon AX Committee » au Gangwon Innovation Center Forest Hall et avait fait le premier pas vers la construction d'un écosystème de transformation de l'intelligence artificielle (AI Transformation, ci-après dénommé AX) dans la région de Gangwon.
AX est une stratégie qui applique l'IA à tous les secteurs afin de rationaliser les modèles économiques et de favoriser l'innovation. Elle a récemment connu une croissance rapide de la demande du marché et de l'intérêt des décideurs politiques. Le ministère des PME et des Startups a annoncé son intention d'accroître l'utilisation de l'IA dans les PME de 28 % en 2023 à 50 % d'ici 2027 et d'étendre la technologie AX aux secteurs clés de la région.
Lancé conformément à cette tendance politique, le Comité Gangwon AX vise à favoriser une base de coopération entre les organisations concernées de la région et à promouvoir la transformation de l'IA au sein de l'industrie en découvrant des startups prometteuses et en favorisant les liens entre les entreprises.

Le comité prévoit de partager des exemples d’application de la technologie de l’IA dans la région par le biais de réunions régulières et de discuter de diverses stratégies et plans de mise en œuvre, notamment des projets de démonstration, un soutien aux entreprises et le développement des talents.
« La création de ce comité jouera un rôle important dans le renforcement de la compétitivité des startups locales et jettera les bases d'une croissance durable pour les industries de Gangwon », a déclaré Lee Hae-jeong, PDG et président du comité du Centre d'innovation de Gangwon. « Nous contribuerons à revitaliser l'écosystème AX local grâce à une étroite collaboration avec les organisations concernées. »
