AI 모델 경량화 및 최적화 플랫폼 클리카(CLIKA)가 AI 인센티브 프로그램에서 우승 기업으로 선정되어 5만 달러의 보조금과 전문 지원 패키지를 받게 됐다고 5일 밝혔다.
이번 시상식은 산호세 시장 맷 마한(Matt Mahan)이 직접 진행했으며, 클리카가 지난해 본사를 미국으로 이전한 뒤 실리콘밸리 중심지인 산호세에 자리 잡은 상황에서 더욱 의미를 더했다. 이번 수상은 클리카가 미국 시장에서 기술력과 성장 가능성을 공식적으로 인정받았다는 점에서 주목된다.
이번 프로그램에는 미국 내 170개 이상의 스타트업이 지원했으며, 클리카를 포함해 엘리시아(Elythea), 메타푸드X(Metafoodx)가 각각 5만 달러의 보조금을, 새틀라이트(Saylyt)가 2만 5천 달러의 보조금을 받으며 총 4개 기업이 최종 우승했다. 이 중 한국계 스타트업은 클리카가 유일하다.
우승 기업들은 보조금 외에도 부동산 및 법률 컨설팅, 첨단 인프라 이용 기회, 현지 기업 및 기관과의 네트워크 확장 지원 등 포괄적인 성장 지원 프로그램을 제공받는다.
심사는 IBM, CBRE, Coactive, J2 Ventures 등 업계 전문가들로 구성된 위원단이 진행했으며, 커뮤니티 기여 가능성, 실현 가능성, 지속 가능성, 윤리적 AI 기준 등을 종합 평가해 최종 수상 기업을 선정했다.
클리카 김나율 대표는 “완전 자동화된 클리카 솔루션은 사용자 제어가 가능한 실시간 지능 구현을 통해 피지컬 AI 시대의 핵심 인프라가 될 것”이라며, “산호세시의 지원을 기반으로 미국 내 사업을 가속화하고 글로벌 시장에서도 영향력을 확대할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.

CLIKA Wins San Jose AI Incentive Program
CLIKA, an AI model lightweighting and optimization platform, announced on the 5th that it was selected as the winning company in the AI incentive program and will receive a $50,000 subsidy and a professional support package.
The awards ceremony, hosted by San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan, was particularly meaningful given that CLIKA relocated its headquarters to the United States last year and now resides in San Jose, the heart of Silicon Valley. This award is noteworthy because it formally recognizes CLIKA's technological prowess and growth potential in the US market.
More than 170 startups across the United States applied for this program, and four companies were ultimately selected as winners: Elythea, Metafoodx, and Satellite, each receiving $50,000 in grants, while Saylyt received a $25,000 grant. Of these, Clicka is the only Korean startup.
In addition to grants, winning companies will receive a comprehensive growth support program, including real estate and legal consulting, access to cutting-edge infrastructure, and support for expanding networks with local businesses and institutions.
The judging panel, comprised of industry experts from IBM, CBRE, Coactive, and J2 Ventures, selected the final winning companies through a comprehensive evaluation of potential for community contribution, feasibility, sustainability, and ethical AI standards.
“The fully automated CLIKA solution will become a core infrastructure in the era of physical AI by implementing real-time intelligence with user control,” said Kim Na-yul, CEO of CLIKA. “Based on the support of the city of San Jose, we plan to accelerate our business in the U.S. and expand our influence in the global market.”

CLIKA, une plateforme d'allègement et d'optimisation de modèles d'IA, a annoncé le 5 qu'elle avait été sélectionnée comme entreprise lauréate du programme d'incitation à l'IA et qu'elle recevrait une subvention de 50 000 $ et un ensemble de services de soutien professionnel.
La cérémonie de remise des prix, animée par le maire de San Jose, Matt Mahan, revêtait une signification particulière, CLIKA ayant transféré son siège social aux États-Unis l'an dernier et étant désormais installée à San Jose, au cœur de la Silicon Valley.
