글로벌 IT 제조기업 인탑스(대표 김근하)는 자사의 액셀러레이팅 프로그램 3기 지원 대상으로 스타트업 리보 주식회사를 최종 선정했다고 8일 밝혔다.
인탑스 액셀러레이팅 프로그램은 하드웨어 기반 스타트업을 대상으로 제품 개발과 양산을 위한 제조 컨설팅을 지원하는 프로그램이다. 지금까지 총 5개 기업이 해당 프로그램을 통해 제품 설계, 디자인, 사업성 검토 등 실질적인 도움을 받아 왔다.
3기 지원 기업으로 선정된 리보는 시각장애인을 위한 스마트 기기 ‘리보 미니’를 개발한 스타트업이다. 리보 미니는 초경량·초소형 스마트 인터페이스 기기로, 단순한 버튼 조작만으로 스마트폰의 다양한 기능을 직관적으로 활용할 수 있도록 설계됐다. 이를 통해 시각장애인이 전화, 문자, 금융 서비스, 음악·영상 콘텐츠 이용 등 다양한 모바일 기능에 보다 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 돕는다.
인탑스는 제품의 기술적 완성도뿐 아니라, 정보 접근성 향상이라는 사회적 가치에 주목해 리보를 이번 프로그램의 지원 대상으로 선정했다. 향후 약 10주 동안 인탑스는 리보에 대해 제품 디자인 및 설계 자문, 시장성 분석, 투자 유치를 위한 전략 수립 등 맞춤형 컨설팅을 제공할 계획이다.
인탑스 관계자는 “리보 미니는 시각장애인을 위한 실질적인 솔루션으로서 시장성과 공익성을 모두 갖춘 제품”이라며 “인탑스의 제조 역량과 노하우를 기반으로 리보가 제품 완성도와 사업성을 강화할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Global IT manufacturing company Intops (CEO Geun-ha Kim) announced on the 8th that it has selected startup Libo Co., Ltd. as the final recipient of the third round of its accelerating program.
The Intops Accelerator Program provides hardware-based startups with product development and manufacturing consulting for mass production. To date, five companies have received practical assistance through the program, including product design, design, and business feasibility studies.
Selected as a third-round support company, Libo is a startup that developed the "Libo Mini," a smart device for the visually impaired. Over the next ten weeks, Intops plans to provide Libo with customized consulting, including product design and planning advice, market analysis, and strategy development for attracting investment.
An Intops representative stated, “Libo Mini is a practical solution for the visually impaired that possesses both marketability and public interest,” and added, “Based on Intops’ manufacturing capabilities and know-how, we will actively support Libo in strengthening its product perfection and business viability.”
