기술보증기금(이사장 김종호, 이하 ‘기보’)은 정부의 국정과제 및 신산업 육성 전략을 뒷받침하고, 혁신기업의 지속성장 기반을 마련하기 위해 인공지능(AI)분야에 대한 지원을 강화한다고 11일(목) 밝혔다.
정부는 A(AI), B(Bio), C(Contents & Culture), D(Defense), E(Energy), F(Factory)를 ‘6대 성장엔진’으로 선정하고 미래 국가경쟁력 강화를 위한 체계적인 정책지원을 추진하고 있다. 기보는 이에 발맞춰 ‘부스트업(BoostUp) 전략’을 통해 6대 성장엔진 산업 전반에 대한 지원을 강화하고 있다.
특히 기보는 AI분야를 중점 지원 대상으로 삼아 적극 지원 중이며, 그 일환으로 지난 5월 AI 특화 전용 보증상품을 출시해 AI산업의 글로벌 격차 해소와 중소벤처기업의 원활한 인공지능 전환(AX)을 위한 지원을 본격화했다. 기보는 올해 AI분야에 1800억원 규모의 자금을 신규공급하고, 900억원을 하반기 집행해 AI기업들의 자금 수요에 적극 대응할 계획이다.
AI 특화 보증상품인 ‘AI·AX 경쟁력 강화 우대보증’은 AI기술을 개발하거나 도입·활용하는 기업을 대상으로 ▲보증비율 상향(최대 95%) ▲보증료 감면(최대 0.3%p) ▲산정특례 확대 등 다양한 혜택을 제공한다. 또한 ‘반도체산업 영위기업 특례보증’을 통해 팹리스 등 반도체 분야의 우수 기술기업을 대상으로 R&D, 장비 국산화 등 핵심 분야 자금 조달을 지원하며, ▲최대 200억원 보증한도 ▲보증비율 상향(최대 95%) ▲보증료 감면(최대 0.3%p) 등의 혜택을 제공한다.
아울러 기보는 기업의 금융비용 부담을 완화하기 위해 시중은행과의 협업을 확대하고, 해외지점을 통한 해외진출보증과 투자유치 등 글로벌 진출 프로그램을 함께 운영해 AI기업의 스케일업을 적극 뒷받침할 방침이다.

Kibo to provide 180 billion won in new guarantees this year… "Fostering the AI industry"
The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Korea Technology Finance Corporation, Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter referred to as “KIBO”) announced on Thursday the 11th that it will strengthen its support for the artificial intelligence (AI) field to support the government’s national agenda and new industry development strategies and to lay the foundation for the sustainable growth of innovative companies.
The government has selected A (AI), B (Bio), C (Contents & Culture), D (Defense), E (Energy), and F (Factory) as the "Six Growth Engines" and is pursuing systematic policy support to strengthen future national competitiveness. In line with this, KIBO is strengthening support across the six growth engine industries through its "BoostUp Strategy."
In particular, KIBO is actively supporting the AI sector, prioritizing its support. As part of this effort, the company launched a dedicated AI-focused guarantee product in May, effectively bridging the global AI industry gap and facilitating the smooth transition to AI (AX) for small and medium-sized venture companies. KIBO plans to provide KRW 180 billion in new funding to the AI sector this year, with KRW 90 billion to be deployed in the second half of the year to proactively address the funding needs of AI companies.
The AI-specific guarantee product, "AI·AX Competitiveness Enhancement Preferential Guarantee," offers various benefits to companies developing, introducing, or utilizing AI technology, including ▲increased guarantee ratio (up to 95%), ▲reduction of guarantee fees (up to 0.3%p), and ▲expanded special calculation cases. In addition, the "Special Guarantee for Companies Operating in the Semiconductor Industry" supports financing in core areas such as R&D and equipment localization for excellent technology companies in the semiconductor industry, such as fabless companies, and provides benefits such as ▲guarantee limit of up to 20 billion won, ▲increased guarantee ratio (up to 95%), and ▲reduction of guarantee fees (up to 0.3%p).
In addition, KIBO plans to actively support the scale-up of AI companies by expanding collaboration with commercial banks to ease the financial burden on companies and operating global expansion programs such as overseas expansion guarantees and investment attraction through overseas branches.

Le gouvernement a sélectionné les secteurs A (IA), B (Bio), C (Contenus et culture), D (Défense), E (Énergie) et F (Usine) comme « six moteurs de croissance » et met en œuvre un soutien politique systématique pour renforcer la compétitivité nationale future. Dans cette optique, le KIBO renforce son soutien aux six secteurs moteurs de croissance grâce à sa « stratégie BoostUp ».
KIBO soutient activement le secteur de l'IA et accorde la priorité à son soutien. Dans le cadre de cet effort, l'entreprise a lancé en mai un produit de garantie dédié à l'IA, comblant ainsi efficacement le déficit du secteur mondial de l'IA et facilitant la transition en douceur vers l'IA (AX) pour les PME. KIBO prévoit d'apporter 180 milliards de wons de nouveaux financements au secteur de l'IA cette année, dont 90 milliards seront déployés au second semestre pour répondre proactivement aux besoins de financement des entreprises d'IA.
Le produit de garantie spécifique à l'IA, « AI·AX Competitiveness Enhancement Preferential Guarantee », offre divers avantages aux entreprises qui développent, introduisent ou utilisent la technologie de l'IA, notamment un taux de garantie accru (jusqu'à 95 %), une réduction des frais de garantie (jusqu'à 0,3 %p) et des cas de calcul spéciaux élargis. De plus, la « Garantie spéciale pour les entreprises du secteur des semi-conducteurs » soutient le financement de secteurs clés tels que la R&D et la localisation d'équipements pour les entreprises technologiques d'excellence du secteur des semi-conducteurs, telles que les entreprises fabless, et offre des avantages tels qu'une limite de garantie pouvant atteindre 20 milliards de wons, un taux de garantie accru (jusqu'à 95 %) et une réduction des frais de garantie (jusqu'à 0,3 %p).
