부산창조경제혁신센터(대표이사 김용우, 이하 부산창경)는 보육기업인 주식회사 세라(SERA, 대표 김도연)가 지난 8월 28일 부산 아스티호텔에서 열린 ‘2025 웰컴 투 팁스 동남권’에서 우수상을 수상했다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 중소벤처기업부가 주최해 지역 유망 스타트업들의 투자 연계와 성장을 지원하기 위해 마련됐다. 부산창경 보육기업인 세라는 이번 대회에서 우수상을 수상하며 기술력과 성장 가능성을 인정받았다.
세라는 이번 수상에서 ‘친환경 단열 결합형 스마트 벽체 공조 시스템’을 선보이며 심사위원단의 주목을 받았다. 이 기술은 천연섬유 기반 NFRC(복합 신소재)와 3D 프린팅을 활용한 경량 패널에 벽면 공조(Wall Displacement Ventilation) 방식을 적용한 혁신적인 건축 솔루션이다. 기존 중앙 공조 대비 설치비용을 최대 49% 절감할 수 있으며, 단열·흡음·통기 기능을 동시에 확보해 냉난방 부하 절감과 실내 공기질 개선을 동시에 달성할 수 있다.
세라는 이 기술을 소형 AI 데이터센터 ‘Breed Box’에도 적용, 글로벌적으로 커지고 있는 데이터센터 전력·열 관리 문제의 새로운 대안을 제시했다. 실제 KAIST IRIS 실험동에서 성능 검증을 진행 중이며, 국내 조달시장 납품과 해외 라이선싱 사업을 추진하고 있다. 글로벌 데이터센터 시장은 2025년 378조원에서 2032년 819조원 규모로 두 배 이상 성장할 것으로 예상돼, 시장성도 충분하다는 평가다.
김도연 대표는 “세라의 지능형 벽체 시스템은 단순한 건축자재가 아니라 에너지·환경·데이터 인프라를 통합적으로 해결하는 플랫폼 기술”이라며, “이번 수상을 계기로 2050 탄소중립 실현을 앞당기는 글로벌 솔루션 기업으로 성장하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Yongwoo Kim, hereinafter referred to as Busan Creative Economy) announced that childcare company SERA Co., Ltd. (CEO Doyeon Kim) won an award of excellence at the '2025 Welcome to Tips Southeast Region' held at the Busan Asti Hotel on August 28.
This event, hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, was designed to support investment and growth for promising local startups. Sera, a Busan Changgyeong incubator, won an award of excellence at the event, demonstrating its technological prowess and growth potential.
At this year's awards, Sera captured the judges' attention with its "Eco-Friendly Insulation-Combined Smart Wall HVAC System." This innovative architectural solution utilizes natural fiber-based NFRC (new composite material) and lightweight 3D-printed panels, utilizing Wall Displacement Ventilation (WV). Compared to conventional central HVAC systems, it can reduce installation costs by up to 49% and simultaneously achieve insulation, sound absorption, and ventilation, reducing heating and cooling loads while improving indoor air quality.
Sera has also applied this technology to its small AI data center, the "Breed Box," offering a new alternative to the growing global power and thermal management challenges of data centers. Performance verification is currently underway at the KAIST IRIS laboratory, and the company is pursuing domestic procurement and overseas licensing opportunities. The global data center market is expected to more than double from KRW 378 trillion in 2025 to KRW 819 trillion in 2032, demonstrating its substantial market potential.
CEO Kim Do-yeon said, “Sera’s intelligent wall system is not just a simple building material, but a platform technology that comprehensively solves energy, environment, and data infrastructure,” and added, “With this award as an opportunity, we will grow into a global solutions company that accelerates the realization of carbon neutrality by 2050.”

セラは今回の受賞で「環境にやさしい断熱結合型スマート壁体空調システム」を披露し、審査委員団の注目を集めた。この技術は、天然繊維ベースのNFRC（複合新素材）と3Dプリントを活用した軽量パネルに壁面空調（Wall Displacement Ventilation）方式を適用した革新的な建築ソリューションです。既存の中央空調に備えて設置コストを最大49％削減でき、断熱・吸音・通気機能を同時に確保し、冷暖房負荷削減と室内空気質改善を同時に達成することができる。
セラはこの技術を小型AIデータセンター「Breed Box」にも適用、グローバルに大きくなっているデータセンターの電力・熱管理問題の新たな代替案を提示した。実際、KAIST IRIS実験棟で性能検証を進めており、国内調達市場の納品と海外ライセンス事業を推進している。グローバルデータセンター市場は2025年378兆ウォンから2032年819兆ウォン規模で2倍以上成長すると予想され、市場性も十分だという評価だ。

在今年的颁奖典礼上，Sera 凭借其“环保保温组合智能墙面暖通空调系统”吸引了评委的目光。这款创新的建筑解决方案采用天然纤维基 NFRC（新型复合材料）和轻质 3D 打印面板，并运用墙体置换通风 (WV)。与传统的中央暖通空调系统相比，该系统可降低高达 49% 的安装成本，同时兼具保温、吸音和通风功能，在降低供暖和制冷负荷的同时，改善室内空气质量。

Le Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center (PDG Yongwoo Kim, ci-après dénommé Busan Creative Economy) a annoncé que la société de garde d'enfants SERA Co., Ltd. (PDG Doyeon Kim) a remporté un prix d'excellence lors du « 2025 Welcome to Tips Southeast Region » qui s'est tenu à l'hôtel Busan Asti le 28 août.
Cet événement, organisé par le ministère des PME et des Startups, visait à soutenir l'investissement et la croissance des start-ups locales prometteuses. Sera, un incubateur de Busan Changgyeong, a remporté un prix d'excellence lors de cet événement, démontrant ainsi sa maîtrise technologique et son potentiel de croissance.
Lors de la cérémonie de remise des prix de cette année, Sera a retenu l'attention du jury avec son système de CVC mural intelligent combinant isolation et respect de l'environnement. Cette solution architecturale innovante utilise du NFRC (nouveau matériau composite) à base de fibres naturelles et des panneaux légers imprimés en 3D, utilisant la ventilation par déplacement mural (VDM). Comparé aux systèmes de CVC centraux classiques, il permet de réduire les coûts d'installation jusqu'à 49 % tout en assurant simultanément l'isolation, l'absorption acoustique et la ventilation, réduisant ainsi les charges de chauffage et de climatisation tout en améliorant la qualité de l'air intérieur.
Sera a également appliqué cette technologie à son petit centre de données IA, la « Breed Box », offrant ainsi une nouvelle alternative aux défis croissants de gestion énergétique et thermique des centres de données à l'échelle mondiale. La vérification des performances est actuellement en cours au laboratoire IRIS du KAIST, et l'entreprise recherche des opportunités d'approvisionnement national et d'octroi de licences à l'étranger. Le marché mondial des centres de données devrait plus que doubler, passant de 378 000 milliards de wons en 2025 à 819 000 milliards de wons en 2032, démontrant ainsi son potentiel commercial considérable.
Le PDG Kim Do-yeon a déclaré : « Le système de murs intelligents de Sera n'est pas seulement un simple matériau de construction, mais une technologie de plate-forme qui résout de manière globale les problèmes d'énergie, d'environnement et d'infrastructure de données », et a ajouté : « Avec ce prix comme opportunité, nous deviendrons une entreprise mondiale de solutions qui accélère la réalisation de la neutralité carbone d'ici 2050. »
