비전 AI 전문기업 씨이랩(대표 윤세혁, 채정환)이 AI 솔루션 기업 업스테이지(대표 김성훈)와 LLM 기반 멀티모달 AI 어플라이언스 상용화를 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 12일 밝혔다.
이번 협약을 통해 양사는 ▲GPU 어플라이언스와 대규모 언어모델(LLM) 통합 ▲비전 AI 솔루션과 한국어 특화 LLM 결합을 중심으로, 산업 현장에 즉시 적용 가능한 멀티모달 AI 어플라이언스를 공동 개발한다.
먼저, 업스테이지의 LLM ‘솔라(Solar)’를 씨이랩의 GPU 어플라이언스 솔루션 ‘아스트라고(AstraGo)’에 탑재해 AI 통합 플랫폼을 구축한다. 이를 통해 GPU 클러스터 관리부터 인프라 최적화까지 지원하며, 대규모 언어모델의 안정적이고 효율적인 운영 환경을 제공해 기업의 AI 도입 장벽을 낮춘다.
또한, 씨이랩의 AI 영상분석 플랫폼 ‘엑스아이바(XAIVA)’에 업스테이지의 한국어 특화 모델을 결합해 반도체·바이오·제조 등 산업별 맞춤형 솔루션을 제공할 예정이다. 여기에 씨이랩의 모델 경량화 기술을 적용함으로써 저사양 GPU 환경에서도 고성능 분석이 가능해져 비용 절감과 운영 효율성 극대화를 기대할 수 있다.
양사는 이번 업무협약을 계기로 씨이랩의 산업 맞춤형 비전 AI 솔루션과 업스테이지의 최첨단 LLM을 결합한 AI 어플라이언스 상품을 구성하고 공동 마케팅 및 글로벌 시장 진출 등을 통해 AI 생태계 확장에 박차를 가할 계획이다.
김성훈 업스테이지 대표는 “씨이랩과의 협력을 통해 솔라의 우수성을 입증하고 실제 비즈니스 환경에서의 적용 사례를 만들어갈 수 있게 되어 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖춘 AI 솔루션을 지속적으로 선보이겠다”고 밝혔다.

Seelab Signs Business Agreement with Upstage
Vision AI specialist company Seelab (CEO Se-hyeok Yoon and Jeong-hwan Chae) announced on the 12th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with AI solution company Upstage (CEO Seong-hun Kim) to commercialize LLM-based multimodal AI appliances.

By applying Cielab's lightweight model technology, high-performance analysis will be possible even on low-spec GPU environments, leading to cost savings and maximum operational efficiency.
With this business agreement, the two companies plan to develop an AI appliance product that combines Seelab's industry-tailored vision AI solution and Upstage's cutting-edge LLM, and to accelerate the expansion of the AI ecosystem through joint marketing and entry into the global market.

Seelab, société spécialisée dans l'IA de vision (PDG Se-hyeok Yoon et Jeong-hwan Chae), a annoncé le 12 avoir signé un protocole d'accord (MOU) avec la société de solutions d'IA Upstage (PDG Seong-hun Kim) pour commercialiser des appareils d'IA multimodaux basés sur LLM.
