의료용 마이크로니들 플랫폼 전문기업 ㈜쿼드메디슨(대표이사 백승기)이 코스닥 시장 상장을 위한 본격적인 기업공개(IPO) 공모 절차에 착수한다.
쿼드메디슨은 지난 26일 한국거래소로부터 상장 예비심사 승인을 받았다고 29일 밝혔다. 이번 승인을 통해 쿼드메디슨은 코스닥 기술특례 상장을 위한 요건을 공식적으로 충족하게 됐다. 상장 주관사는 NH투자증권이다.
쿼드메디슨은 2017년부터 마이크로니들 기반 의약품 전달 플랫폼 개발에 집중해온 기업으로, 피부를 통해 의약품을 효율적으로 전달할 수 있는 차세대 기술 ‘MAP 시리즈(S-MAP, C-MAP, P-MAP)’를 보유하고 있다. 이 플랫폼은 미세침을 피부 표피 및 진피층에 삽입해 통증을 최소화하면서 약물을 안정적으로 전달하는 방식으로, 환자의 복약 편의성을 높이고 기존 주사제 대비 효능을 유지할 수 있다는 점에서 글로벌 제약·바이오 업계의 주목을 받고 있다.

쿼드메디슨은 이와 같은 독자적 기술 플랫폼을 완성했으며, 이들 기술은 골다공증치료제, 비만치료제, B형간염백신, MR백신, Shigella백신 등 다양한 분야로 확장 가능하다. 일부 파이프라인은 국내 제약사 협업을 통해 임상 단계에 진입했으며, 글로벌 제약사와는 준비 및 향후 임상 진입을 추진하고 있다.

Quad Medicine has focused on developing microneedle-based drug delivery platforms since 2017. Some of its pipelines have entered clinical trials through collaborations with domestic pharmaceutical companies, and it is currently preparing and pursuing future clinical trials with global pharmaceutical companies.
The company's manufacturing competitiveness is also attracting significant attention in the market. Quadmedicine has independently developed a dedicated microneedle production process and automated equipment, ensuring consistent quality. クアッドメディソンは26日、韓国取引所から上場予備審査承認を受けたと29日明らかにした。今回の承認により、クアッドメディソンはコスダック技術特例上場のための要件を公式に満たすことになった。上場主管社はNH投資証券だ。
