IT 보안 및 인증 플랫폼 기업 라온시큐어(대표 이순형, 이정아)는 일본 클라우드 서비스 전문기업 사이버링크스(대표 히가시 나오키)와 옴니원 디지털아이디(OmniOne Digital ID) 기반 디지털 자격증명 발급 사업을 위한 라이선스 계약을 체결했다고 29일 밝혔다. 이번 계약을 통해 양사는 일본 디지털 자격증명 시장 공략에 나설 계획이다.
라온시큐어와 사이버링크스는 2022년 ‘일본전자증명서 유통기반 개발을 위한 업무협약(MOU)’을 체결한 이후 협력을 지속해왔으며, 이번 라이선스 계약으로 상용화 단계에 본격 진입했다. 사이버링크스는 일본 내 금융, 유통, 공공 분야 고객을 대상으로 옴니원 디지털아이디 플랫폼을 활용한 디지털 자격증명 서비스를 제공할 예정이다.
사이버링크스는 일본 중견 클라우드 기업으로, 일본 정부의 공적 신분증인 ‘마이넘버카드’를 활용한 인증 및 전자인증서 발행 서비스를 운영 중이다. 현재 토익(TOEIC) 디지털 인증서를 포함해 140만 건 이상의 디지털 증명서를 발급한 실적을 보유하고 있다. 최근 일본 정부가 디지털청을 중심으로 민관 통합 디지털 혁신 정책을 추진하며 디지털 자격증명에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있다.
옴니원 디지털아이디는 라온시큐어가 자체 개발한 블록체인 기반 디지털 신원 및 자격증명 통합 플랫폼으로, 개인 신원 확인뿐만 아니라 자격, 학력, 경력 등 다양한 디지털 증명서의 안전한 발급과 검증이 가능하다. 이 플랫폼은 일본 정부의 디지털 개혁 정책과 민간 금융·유통 부문의 요구에 대응하는 신뢰 인프라를 제공한다. 또한, 대한민국 정부가 발급하는 모바일 신분증에도 라온시큐어의 블록체인 기반 DID(탈중앙화 신원증명) 플랫폼 기술이 적용된 바 있다.
라온시큐어 이순형 대표는 “사이버링크스와의 협력을 통해 일본 디지털 자격증명 시장으로 사업을 확대하게 된 점이 매우 의미 있다”며, “일본에서 검증된 생체인증 기술과 옴니원 디지털아이디 플랫폼을 바탕으로 글로벌 신원 및 자격 인증 시장에서 리더십을 강화하겠다”고 말했다.

LaonSecure Signs Licensing Agreement with Japan's Cyberlinks for OmniOne Digital ID

CyberLinks plans to provide digital credential services utilizing the OmniOne Digital ID platform to customers in the financial, distribution, and public sectors in Japan.
Cyberlinks, a mid-sized Japanese cloud company, operates authentication and electronic certificate issuance services utilizing the "My Number Card," the Japanese government's official identification card. Currently, the company has issued over 1.4 million digital certificates, including TOEIC digital certificates. Demand for digital credentials is increasing as the Japanese government recently pursues a public-private integrated digital innovation policy centered around the Digital Agency.
OmniOne Digital ID, developed by Raonsecure, is a blockchain-based digital identity and credential integration platform. It not only verifies personal identity but also securely issues and verifies various digital certificates, including qualifications, academic background, and career history. This platform provides a trust infrastructure that meets the Japanese government's digital reform policies and the needs of the private finance and distribution sectors. Furthermore, Raonsecure's blockchain-based DID (Decentralized Identification) platform technology has been applied to the mobile ID issued by the South Korean government.
