전남정보문화산업진흥원(원장 이인용)은 9월 30일 여수 호텔베네치아에서 ‘AI융합 지능형 농업 생태계 구축사업 IR 데모데이 & 투자상담회’를 개최했다. 이번 행사는 지역 농업 스타트업의 기술 역량을 소개하고, 투자 유치 및 글로벌 진출 기회를 마련하기 위해 기획됐다.
이날 행사에서는 전라남도 지역의 농업 분야 스타트업 8개사가 참여해 인공지능(AI) 기반의 농업 기술과 사업 전략을 발표했다. 참가 기업은 ▲비긴즈 ▲에이스퀘어 ▲터빈크루 ▲휴인텍 ▲테바엑스 ▲코트그린 ▲스쿨모아 ▲코너스톤 등으로, AI 기반 드론 경로 최적화, 노지 과수 스마트팜, 자율주행 수확 로봇, 스마트 비료 플랫폼 등 다양한 기술이 소개됐다.
이번 데모데이는 과학기술정보통신부가 지원하고 전라남도농업기술원, 전남정보문화산업진흥원, 전남테크노파크가 공동으로 추진 중인 ‘AI융합 지능형 농업 생태계 구축사업’의 일환으로 진행됐다. 해당 사업은 2024년부터 2028년까지 5년간 총 414억 원 규모로 운영되며, 호남권을 중심으로 AI 기반 농업 혁신 생태계 조성을 목표로 한다.
행사에는 블루오션벤처스, 스타트업엑스, 아이벤처스, 오라클벤처투자, 킹고스프링 등 국내 주요 벤처캐피털 및 액셀러레이터 5곳이 참여해 심사 및 1:1 투자 상담을 진행했다. 투자자들은 기업별 기술력과 성장 가능성을 평가하고, 후속 투자 가능성에 대한 의견을 공유했다.
우수 발표 기업 3곳에는 오는 11월 독일 하노버에서 열리는 세계 최대 농업 박람회 ‘Agri Technica 2025’ 참관 기회가 제공된다. 이와 함께 유럽 현지 투자자와의 미팅과 글로벌 네트워크 연계도 지원할 예정이다.
전남정보문화산업진흥원 관계자는 “AI와 농업의 융합은 미래 농업 경쟁력 확보를 위한 핵심 영역”이라며 “이번 행사를 통해 지역 스타트업이 실질적인 투자 기회를 얻고, 글로벌 시장으로 진출할 수 있도록 지속적으로 지원할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.

The Jeonnam Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency (Director Lee In-yong ) held the "AI-Fusion Intelligent Agricultural Ecosystem Development Project IR Demo Day & Investment Consultation" at the Hotel Venezia in Yeosu on September 30th. This event was designed to showcase the technological capabilities of local agricultural startups and provide opportunities for investment and global expansion.
At the event, eight agricultural startups from South Jeolla Province participated and presented AI-based agricultural technologies and business strategies. Participating companies included Begins, Acesquare, Turbine Crew, Huintech, TebaX, Coat Green, School Moa, and Cornerstone, and presented a variety of technologies, including AI-based drone route optimization, smart farms for open-field orchards, autonomous harvesting robots, and smart fertilizer platforms.
This demo day was held as part of the "AI Convergence Intelligent Agricultural Ecosystem Construction Project," supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT and jointly promoted by the Jeollanam-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services, the Jeollanam-do Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency, and the Jeollanam-do Technopark. The project, which will run for five years from 2024 to 2028 with a total budget of 41.4 billion won, aims to foster an AI-based agricultural innovation ecosystem, centered in the Honam region.
Five major domestic venture capital firms and accelerators, including Blue Ocean Ventures, Startup X, iVentures, Oracle Venture Investment, and Kingo Spring, participated in the event, conducting evaluations and one-on-one investment consultations. Investors evaluated each company's technological prowess and growth potential and shared their opinions on the potential for follow-up investment.
The three companies that present outstanding results will be given the opportunity to attend AgriTechnica 2025, the world's largest agricultural exhibition, to be held in Hanover, Germany in November. Furthermore, they will be supported with meetings with local European investors and global networking opportunities.
An official from the Jeonnam Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency stated, “The convergence of AI and agriculture is a key area for securing future agricultural competitiveness,” and added, “Through this event, we plan to continuously support local startups to gain practical investment opportunities and advance into the global market.”

Huit startups agricoles de la province du Jeolla du Sud ont participé à l'événement et présenté des technologies agricoles et des stratégies commerciales basées sur l'IA. Parmi les entreprises participantes figuraient Begins, Acesquare, Turbine Crew, Huintech, TebaX, Coat Green, School Moa et Cornerstone. Elles ont présenté diverses technologies, notamment l'optimisation des itinéraires de drones basée sur l'IA, les fermes intelligentes pour les vergers de plein champ, les robots de récolte autonomes et les plateformes d'engrais intelligentes.
Cette journée de démonstration s'est tenue dans le cadre du « Projet de construction d'un écosystème agricole intelligent basé sur la convergence de l'IA », soutenu par le ministère des Sciences et des TIC et promu conjointement par les Services de recherche et de vulgarisation agricoles du Jeollanam-do, l'Agence de promotion de l'industrie de l'information et de la culture du Jeollanam-do et le Technopark du Jeollanam-do. Ce projet, d'une durée de cinq ans (2024-2028) et doté d'un budget total de 41,4 milliards de wons, vise à promouvoir un écosystème d'innovation agricole basé sur l'IA, centré sur la région de Honam.
Cinq grandes sociétés de capital-risque et accélérateurs nationaux, dont Blue Ocean Ventures, Startup X, iVentures, Oracle Venture Investment et Kingo Spring, ont participé à l'événement et mené des évaluations et des consultations d'investissement individuelles.
