한화로보틱스가 마음AI와 28일 경기 성남시 마음AI 본사에서 ‘피지컬 AI 분야 협력을 위한 양해각서(MOU)’를 체결했다고 밝혔다. 협약식에는 정병찬 한화로보틱스 대표와 최홍섭 마음AI 대표가 참석했다.
피지컬 AI는 로봇이 시각·청각 등 다양한 센서를 통해 주변 환경을 인식하고 스스로 판단해 행동하는 자율 지능 기술을 의미한다. 이번 협약을 통해 양사는 차세대 로보틱스 플랫폼에 마음AI의 시각·언어·행동(VLA, Vision-Language-Action) 기반 자율제어 모델 ‘워브(WoRV)’를 적용하고, 이를 상용화하기 위한 공동 연구를 진행할 예정이다.
또한 양사는 실제 제품의 시험 환경을 디지털로 구현하는 DPG(Digital Proving Ground, 디지털 시험장)를 공동 구축해 실증 및 검증 체계를 강화할 계획이다. 이를 통해 피지컬 AI 기술의 신뢰성을 높이고, 제조·건설·서비스 등 다양한 산업 분야로 적용 범위를 확대한다는 방침이다.
한화로보틱스 관계자는 “이번 협약을 통해 산업 현장에 특화된 피지컬 AI 로봇 기술을 선보일 수 있을 것으로 기대한다”며 “국내를 넘어 글로벌 로봇 시장에서도 피지컬 AI 선도 기업으로 자리매김할 수 있도록 협력을 강화하겠다”고 말했다.

Hanwha Robotics Signs MOU with MindAI to Commercialize Physical AI Robots
Hanwha Robotics announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with MindAI for cooperation in the field of physical AI at MindAI's headquarters in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, on the 28th. The signing ceremony was attended by Hanwha Robotics CEO Jeong Byeong-chan and MindAI CEO Choi Hong-seop.
Physical AI refers to autonomous intelligence technology that enables robots to perceive their surroundings through various sensors, including vision and hearing, and to make decisions and take action on their own. Through this agreement, the two companies will apply Mind AI's Vision-Language-Action (VLA)-based autonomous control model, "WoRV," to their next-generation robotics platform and conduct joint research to commercialize it.
Additionally, the two companies plan to strengthen their verification and validation system by jointly building a Digital Proving Ground (DPG), a digital representation of the actual product testing environment. This will enhance the reliability of physical AI technology and expand its application to diverse industries, including manufacturing, construction, and services.
A Hanwha Robotics official said, “We expect that through this agreement, we will be able to showcase physical AI robot technology specialized for industrial sites,” and added, “We will strengthen our cooperation so that we can establish ourselves as a leading physical AI company not only in the domestic market but also in the global robot market.”

また、両社は実際の製品の試験環境をデジタルで実現するDPG（Digital Proving Ground、デジタル試験場）を共同構築し、実証および検証体系を強化する計画だ。これによりフィジカルAI技術の信頼性を高め、製造・建設・サービスなど多様な産業分野に適用範囲を拡大するという方針だ。
ハンファロボティクス関係者は「今回の協約を通じて産業現場に特化したフィジカルAIロボット技術を披露できると期待する」とし「国内を越えてグローバルロボット市場でもフィジカルAI先導企業として位置づけることができるように協力を強化する」と話した。

Hanwha Robotics a annoncé avoir signé un protocole d'accord avec MindAI pour une coopération dans le domaine de l'IA physique au siège de MindAI à Seongnam, dans la province de Gyeonggi, le 28. L'intelligence artificielle physique désigne une technologie d'intelligence autonome permettant aux robots de percevoir leur environnement grâce à divers capteurs, notamment la vision et l'ouïe, et de prendre des décisions et d'agir de manière autonome. Aux termes de cet accord, les deux entreprises appliqueront le modèle de contrôle autonome « WoRV » de Mind AI, basé sur le modèle Vision-Langage-Action (VLA), à leur plateforme robotique de nouvelle génération et mèneront des recherches conjointes en vue de sa commercialisation.
Par ailleurs, les deux entreprises prévoient de renforcer leur système de vérification et de validation en créant conjointement un banc d'essai numérique (DPG), une représentation numérique de l'environnement réel de test des produits. Ceci permettra d'améliorer la fiabilité de la technologie d'IA physique et d'étendre son application à divers secteurs, notamment la fabrication, la construction et les services.
Un responsable de Hanwha Robotics a déclaré : « Nous espérons que cet accord nous permettra de présenter une technologie de robotique à intelligence artificielle physique spécialisée pour les sites industriels », et a ajouté : « Nous renforcerons notre coopération afin de nous imposer comme une entreprise leader en intelligence artificielle physique, non seulement sur le marché national, mais aussi sur le marché mondial de la robotique. »
