젠엑시스가 무기명(익명) 프리미엄 대여금고 서비스를 운영하는 ㈜볼트1932에 투자했다. 이번 투자는 은행권의 대여금고 축소와 실물자산 투자 확대로 인한 민간 보관 인프라 수요 증가에 대응하기 위한 것으로, 새로운 형태의 ‘보관 산업(Safe-as-a-Service)’ 시장 성장 가능성에 주목한 결과다.
2020년 설립된 볼트1932는 은행 대여금고를 대체하는 민간 자산보관 서비스를 표방하며, 무기명 대여금고를 상용화했다. 현재 서울 압구정, 광화문, 잠실, 부산 해운대 등 4개 직영센터를 운영 중이며, UL-Class II 인증 벽체와 3단계 생체인증 시스템을 적용했다.
젠엑시스 관계자는 “볼트1932는 은행 중심의 대여금고 시장을 민간화하고 고급화한 개척자”라며 “이번 투자를 통해 기술 중심 분야뿐 아니라 생활 인프라와 보안산업 융합 영역으로 투자 범위를 확장할 계획”이라고 말했다.
양성영 볼트1932 대표는 “고객이 자산을 스스로 보호할 수 있는 공간을 제공하는 것이 회사의 핵심 가치”라며 “이번 투자를 계기로 전국 주요 도시와 공항, 백화점 등으로 거점을 확대하고, 장기적으로는 해외 금융도시 진출도 추진할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.

Currently, it operates four directly managed centers in Apgujeong, Gwanghwamun, and Jamsil in Seoul, and Haeundae in Busan. These centers feature UL-Class II certified walls and a three-step biometric authentication system.
A Zenaxis representative said, “Bolt 1932 is a pioneer in privatizing and upgrading the bank-centered safe deposit box market,” and added, “Through this investment, we plan to expand the scope of our investment beyond technology-centered fields to areas converging with living infrastructure and the security industry.”
Yang Seong-yeong, CEO of Bolt 1932, said, “Providing a space where customers can protect their assets on their own is a core value of the company,” and added, “We plan to use this investment as an opportunity to expand our base to major cities, airports, and department stores across the country, and in the long term, we will also pursue expansion into overseas financial cities.”
