데이터 및 인공지능(AI) 특화 클라우드 전문기업 클루커스(대표 홍성완)는 13일 ‘2025 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards’에서 게이밍 부문 글로벌 파이널리스트로 선정됐다고 밝혔다.
‘마이크로소프트 올해의 파트너상(Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards)’은 지난 1년간 마이크로소프트 클라우드 기반 혁신을 구현한 전 세계 파트너를 선정해 시상하는 프로그램이다. 올해는 100여 개국에서 4,600건 이상의 후보가 접수됐으며, 클루커스는 이 가운데 게이밍 부문에서 전문성과 기술 역량을 인정받았다.
클루커스는 마이크로소프트 애저(Azure) 기반으로 국내 주요 게임사의 클라우드 전환을 지원해 온 파트너로, 크래프톤, 펄어비스, 넷마블 등 다수의 대표 기업을 고객사로 확보하고 있다. 특히 실시간 글로벌 운영과 대규모 트래픽 처리 등 복잡한 기술 수요가 높은 게임 산업 환경에서, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Copilot 등 최신 기술을 실질적으로 적용하는 AI 기반 매니지드 서비스를 제공하고 있다.
마이크로소프트 글로벌 파트너 솔루션 부문 총괄 부사장 니콜 데젠(Nicole Dezen)은 “올해의 파트너들은 마이크로소프트 클라우드와 AI 플랫폼이 제공하는 기술적 잠재력을 실질적인 고객 가치로 전환하는 모습을 보여주었다”고 말했다.
홍성완 클루커스 대표는 “이번 수상은 글로벌 경쟁 속에서 클루커스의 기술력과 위상을 공인받은 결과”라며 “한국을 비롯해 일본, 말레이시아, 미국 등으로 사업을 확장하고 있으며, 앞으로도 AI 기술력을 기반으로 글로벌 시장에서 한국 기업의 경쟁력을 입증하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Cluckers Named a Global Finalist for the 2025 Microsoft Partner of the Year Award

The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards program recognizes partners worldwide who have implemented Microsoft cloud-based innovations over the past year. This year, over 4,600 nominations were received from over 100 countries, and Cluckers was recognized for its expertise and technical capabilities in the gaming sector.
Cluckus has been supporting major Korean gaming companies' cloud transitions to Microsoft Azure, securing numerous leading companies such as Krafton, Pearl Abyss, and Netmarble as clients. Specifically, in the gaming industry, where complex technical demands such as real-time global operations and large-scale traffic processing are high, Cluckus provides AI-based managed services that practically apply cutting-edge technologies like Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Copilot.
“This year’s partners have demonstrated how they are translating the technical potential of Microsoft’s cloud and AI platforms into tangible customer value,” said Nicole Dezen, corporate vice president of Microsoft’s Global Partner Solutions division.
