서울바이오허브 입주기업 큐어버스(대표 조성진)와 삼성서울병원(병원장 박승우)은 대장암 치료를 위한 저분자 신약 공동 개발을 목표로 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 양 기관이 보유한 임상 경험과 신약 개발 역량을 결합해 면역항암제에 반응하지 않는 대장암 환자에게 치료 대안을 확보하기 위한 것이다.
삼성서울병원 조용범 교수 연구팀은 대장암 분야 임상 인프라와 환자 데이터를 기반으로 효능 평가 시스템 구축, 후보물질 효능 검증, 임상 자문을 담당한다. 큐어버스는 저분자 화합물 설계·합성 기술과 신약개발 경험을 바탕으로 신규 후보물질의 디자인, 최적화 및 의약화학 자문을 수행한다.
양 기관은 비임상과 임상을 연계한 협력체계를 통해 면역항암제 불응성 대장암 치료제 개발 속도를 높이고, 연구 성과를 바탕으로 향후 다양한 암종으로 적응증 확대 가능성도 검토할 예정이다.
삼성서울병원 조용범 교수는 임상 현장에서의 미충족 수요 해결을 위한 혁신적 약물 발굴의 필요성을 언급하며 이번 협력에 대한 기대를 전했다. 큐어버스 진정욱 부대표는 “병원 기반 임상 연구와 기업의 신약개발 기술이 결합된 협력 모델이라는 점”을 강조하며, “반응성이 낮은 환자들에게 새로운 치료 기회를 제공하기 위한 연구를 지속하겠다”라고 밝혔다.

Curebus Signs Business Agreement with Samsung Medical Center
Seoul Bio Hub resident company Curebus (CEO Seong-jin Cho) and Samsung Seoul Hospital (Director Seung-woo Park) announced that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the goal of jointly developing a small molecule new drug for the treatment of colon cancer.
This agreement aims to combine the clinical experience and new drug development capabilities of both organizations to secure a treatment alternative for patients with colon cancer who do not respond to immunotherapy.
Professor Yong-Beom Cho's research team at Samsung Medical Center will build an efficacy evaluation system based on clinical infrastructure and patient data for colorectal cancer, verify the efficacy of candidate compounds, and provide clinical consulting. CureVerse will leverage its small molecule compound design and synthesis technology and its experience in new drug development to design, optimize, and provide medicinal chemistry consulting for new candidates.
The two organizations plan to accelerate the development of a treatment for colorectal cancer refractory to immunotherapy through a collaborative system linking non-clinical and clinical trials, and to examine the possibility of expanding indications to various types of cancer in the future based on research results.
Professor Yong-Beom Cho of Samsung Medical Center expressed his anticipation for this collaboration, citing the need for innovative drug discovery to address unmet clinical needs. CureVerse Vice President Jin-Wook Jin emphasized, "This collaborative model combines hospital-based clinical research with a company's new drug development technology," adding, "We will continue our research to provide new treatment opportunities for patients with low responsiveness."

ソウルバイオハブ入居企業キュアバス（代表チョ・ソンジン）とサムスンソウル病院（病院長パク・スンウ）は大腸がん治療のための低分子新薬共同開発を目標に業務協約（ＭＯＵ）を締結したと明らかにした。
今回の条約は、両機関が保有する臨床経験と新薬開発能力を組み合わせて、免疫抗がん剤に反応しない大腸がん患者に治療代替を確保するためのものである。
サムスンソウル病院チョ・ヨンボム教授研究チームは、大腸がん分野の臨床インフラと患者データに基づいて、効能評価システムの構築、候補物質の効能検証、臨床諮問を担当する。キュアバスは、低分子化合物の設計・合成技術と新薬開発の経験をもとに、新規候補物質の設計、最適化および医薬化学助言を行う。
両機関は非臨床と臨床を連携した協力体系を通じて免疫抗がん剤不応性大腸がん治療剤の開発速度を高め、研究成果をもとに今後様々ながんで適応症拡大の可能性も検討する予定だ。
サムスンソウル病院のチョ・ヨンボム教授は、臨床現場での未充足需要を解決するための革新的薬物発掘の必要性に言及し、今回の協力に対する期待を伝えた。キュアバスのジン・ジョンウク副代表は「病院ベースの臨床研究と企業の新薬開発技術が結合された協力モデルであること」を強調し、「反応性の低い患者に新しい治療機会を提供するための研究を継続する」と明らかにした。

Curebus signe un accord commercial avec le centre médical Samsung
La société résidente du Seoul Bio Hub , Curebus (PDG Seong-jin Cho), et le Samsung Medical Center (directeur Seung-woo Park) ont annoncé avoir signé un protocole d'accord (MOU) dans le but de développer conjointement un nouveau médicament à base de petite molécule pour le traitement du cancer du côlon.
Cet accord vise à combiner l'expérience clinique et les capacités de développement de nouveaux médicaments des deux organisations afin d'offrir une alternative thérapeutique aux patients atteints d'un cancer du côlon ne répondant pas à l'immunothérapie.
L'équipe de recherche du professeur Yong-Beom Cho au Centre médical Samsung mettra en place un système d'évaluation de l'efficacité des traitements contre le cancer colorectal, basé sur l'infrastructure clinique et les données des patients. Ce système permettra de vérifier l'efficacité des composés candidats et d'offrir un accompagnement clinique. CureVerse s'appuiera sur son expertise en conception et synthèse de petites molécules et sur son expérience en développement de nouveaux médicaments pour concevoir, optimiser et accompagner en chimie médicinale les nouveaux candidats.
Les deux organisations prévoient d'accélérer le développement d'un traitement contre le cancer colorectal réfractaire à l'immunothérapie grâce à un système collaboratif reliant essais non cliniques et cliniques, et d'examiner la possibilité d'étendre les indications à divers types de cancer à l'avenir en fonction des résultats de la recherche.
