AI 기반 모바일 휴머노이드 로봇 개발 기업 로볼리전트(Roboligent)는 25일 로봇 핸드, 자율주행 및 로봇 자동화 전문기업 원익로보틱스와 모바일 휴머노이드 로봇 기술 협력을 위한 양해각서(MOU)를 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협력은 로볼리전트가 개발한 AI 기반 양팔 모바일 휴머노이드 로봇 ‘ROBIN(로빈)’과 원익로보틱스의 로봇 핸드 ‘Allegro Hand(알레그로 핸드)’를 통합해 새로운 응용 모델을 개발하고, 정밀 조작 능력과 동작 지능을 강화하기 위한 목적이다.
양사는 모바일 휴머노이드 기술의 실사용 환경 확대, 연구·학술 분야 공동 활동, 기술 교류 및 데이터 기반 AI 협력 등을 중심으로 단계적으로 협력을 진행할 계획이다.
로볼리전트 김봉수 대표는 이번 협력이 실사용 가능한 휴머노이드 구현을 위한 의미 있는 진전이라고 평가하며, 원익로보틱스와 함께 미국 및 글로벌 시장에서의 상용화 전략을 강화하겠다고 밝혔다. 그는 또한 Allegro Hand 통합을 통해 로빈의 조작 능력과 작업 정밀도가 향상될 것이라고 말했다.
원익로보틱스 김학래 대표는 협력을 통해 자사의 로봇 자동화 역량이 휴머노이드 영역까지 확대될 것으로 기대하며, 양사 기술을 결합해 다양한 산업 분야에 적용 가능한 새로운 응용 사례를 발굴하겠다고 밝혔다.

Roboligent, an AI-based mobile humanoid robot development company, announced on the 25th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Wonik Robotics, a company specializing in robot hands, autonomous driving, and robot automation, for collaboration on mobile humanoid robot technology.
This collaboration aims to develop a new application model by integrating ROBIN, an AI-based dual-arm mobile humanoid robot developed by Roboligent, and Wonik Robotics' robot hand, Allegro Hand, and to enhance precision manipulation capabilities and motion intelligence.
