퓨처플레이(대표 권오형)는 2025년 민관협력 IP 전략지원사업(이하 CIPO 프로그램)에서 ‘우수 운영사(한국발명진흥회장상)’로 선정됐다고 4일 밝혔다.
퓨처플레이는 올해 CIPO 프로그램에서 AI·반도체 전문트랙 운영사로 참여하며 5개 스타트업에 CIPO(Chief IP Officer) 역할을 수행했다. 기술·사업·IP를 통합한 전략적 지원 역량이 높은 평가를 받았다. 또한 프로그램 운영을 총괄한 전경진 IP 매니저는 개인 부문에서 ‘ICT 표준 경영 대상(지식재산처장상)’을 수상했다.
CIPO 프로그램은 지식재산처와 한국발명진흥회가 공동 운영하는 민관협력 정책으로, 민간 투자기관이 스타트업의 IP 중심 경영 전반을 지원하며 CIPO 역할을 수행하는 제도다. 2024년 참여 기업 하이드로엑스팬드는 프로그램 종료 후에도 특허 출원, 직무발명우수기업 인증, ‘도전 K-스타트업’ IP 리그 장려상 수상 등 IP 기반 기술 경쟁력을 지속 강화했다.
퓨처플레이는 2025년 참여 스타트업 5곳(로아이, 아이디어오션, TDS 이노베이션, 로보스, 메디인테크)에 ▲기술·시장·경쟁환경 분석 ▲글로벌 특허·브랜드 전략 ▲선행특허 기반 리스크 해소 ▲FTO 기반 확장 전략 ▲글로벌 진출 대응 전략 등 실행 중심의 IP 경영 솔루션을 제공했다.
CIPO 네트워킹데이 스타트업 투자 피칭 대회에서 1위를 차지한 로아이 홍석의 대표는 “기술이 시장에서 자산으로 전환되는 구조를 이해하게 됐고, IP 포트폴리오 기반으로 후속 투자 가능성과 사업 협상력이 강화됐다”고 평가했다.
퓨처플레이 전경진 IP 매니저는 “IP는 기술기업 경쟁력의 핵심 요소이며, 기업별 기술·사업·IP 상황을 종합 분석해 생애주기별 맞춤형 전략 수립이 중요하다”며 “앞으로도 스타트업이 시장 변화에 유연하게 대응할 수 있도록 IP 중심 전략 지원을 강화하겠다”고 밝혔다.

FuturePlay Selected as an Outstanding Operator for the 2025 CIPO Program
Future Play (CEO Oh-hyung Kwon) announced on the 4th that it was selected as an 'Excellent Operator (Korea Invention Promotion Association President's Award)' in the 2025 Public-Private Partnership IP Strategy Support Project (hereinafter referred to as the CIPO Program).
FuturePlay participated in this year's CIPO program as the operator of the AI and semiconductor specialized track, serving as Chief IP Officer (CIPO) for five startups. Its strategic support capabilities, integrating technology, business, and IP, were highly praised. Furthermore, IP Manager Jeon Gyeong-jin, who oversaw the program's operations, received the "ICT Standard Management Award (Minister of Intellectual Property Award)" in the individual category.
The CIPO program is a public-private partnership jointly operated by the Ministry of Intellectual Property and the Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA). Private investment institutions support startups' IP-centric management and serve as CIPOs. HydroXpand, a participating company in 2024, continued to strengthen its IP-based technological competitiveness even after the program ended, achieving patent applications, receiving certification as an excellent company for job inventions, and winning the "Challenge K-Startup" IP League Encouragement Award.
Future Play provided execution-oriented IP management solutions to the five participating startups in 2025 (Roai, Idea Ocean, TDS Innovation, Robos, and Mediintech), including ▲technology, market, and competitive environment analysis ▲global patent and brand strategy ▲risk resolution based on prior patents ▲FTO-based expansion strategy ▲global entry response strategy.
Hong Seok, CEO of Roai, who won first place in the CIPO Networking Day Startup Investment Pitching Contest, commented, “I have come to understand the structure of how technology is converted into assets in the market, and based on my IP portfolio, I have strengthened my ability to negotiate business and the possibility of follow-up investments.”
Futureplay IP Manager Jeon Gyeong-jin stated, “IP is a key element of a technology company’s competitiveness, and it is important to comprehensively analyze each company’s technology, business, and IP situation to establish customized strategies for each life cycle.” He added, “We will continue to strengthen our support for IP-centered strategies so that startups can flexibly respond to market changes.”

Future Play (PDG Oh-hyung Kwon) a annoncé le 4 qu'elle avait été sélectionnée comme « Excellent opérateur (Prix du président de l'Association coréenne de promotion des inventions) » dans le cadre du projet de soutien à la stratégie de partenariat public-privé en matière de propriété intellectuelle 2025 (ci-après dénommé le programme CIPO).
FuturePlay a participé cette année au programme CIPO en tant qu'opérateur du volet spécialisé en IA et semi-conducteurs, assurant la fonction de directeur de la propriété intellectuelle (CIPO) pour cinq startups. Ses compétences en matière de soutien stratégique, intégrant technologie, commerce et propriété intellectuelle, ont été particulièrement saluées. Par ailleurs, Jeon Gyeong-jin, responsable de la propriété intellectuelle et responsable du programme, a reçu le prix « Gestion des normes TIC (Prix du ministre de la Propriété intellectuelle) » dans la catégorie individuelle.
Le programme CIPO est un partenariat public-privé géré conjointement par le ministère de la Propriété intellectuelle et l'Association coréenne pour la promotion des inventions (KIPA). Des institutions d'investissement privées accompagnent les jeunes entreprises dans la gestion de leur propriété intellectuelle et jouent le rôle de CIPO. HydroXpand, entreprise participante en 2024, a continué de renforcer sa compétitivité technologique en matière de propriété intellectuelle même après la fin du programme, en déposant des demandes de brevets, en obtenant la certification d'entreprise d'excellence pour ses inventions génératrices d'emplois et en remportant le prix d'encouragement de la Ligue de la propriété intellectuelle « Challenge K-Startup ».
Future Play a fourni des solutions de gestion de la propriété intellectuelle axées sur l'exécution aux cinq startups participantes en 2025 (Roai, Idea Ocean, TDS Innovation, Robos et Mediintech), notamment : ▲analyse de la technologie, du marché et de l'environnement concurrentiel ▲stratégie mondiale en matière de brevets et de marques ▲résolution des risques basée sur les brevets antérieurs ▲stratégie d'expansion basée sur la liberté d'exploitation ▲stratégie de réponse à l'entrée sur le marché mondial.
Hong Seok, PDG de Roai, qui a remporté la première place du concours de présentation de projets d'investissement pour startups organisé par le CIPO Networking Day, a déclaré : « J'ai compris comment la technologie est transformée en actifs sur le marché et, grâce à mon portefeuille de propriété intellectuelle, j'ai renforcé ma capacité à négocier des affaires et la possibilité d'investissements ultérieurs. »
Jeon Gyeong-jin, responsable de la propriété intellectuelle chez Futureplay, a déclaré : « La propriété intellectuelle est un élément clé de la compétitivité d’une entreprise technologique.
