드론 AI 전문기업 니어스랩(대표 최재혁)이 한국무역협회 주관 제62회 무역의 날 기념식에서 ‘300만불 수출의 탑’을 수상했다고 8일 밝혔다. 지난해 ‘200만불 수출의 탑’ 수상에 이어 2년 연속 달성한 기록으로, 풍력발전 점검 솔루션의 안정적인 수출과 방위산업 분야 진출이 주요 성과 요인으로 꼽힌다.
니어스랩은 민수 시장에서 검증된 자율비행 기술을 국방 분야로 전환하는 전략을 통해 올해 CES 2025 최고혁신상과 에디슨 어워즈 수상, 디펜스포스트 ‘글로벌 100대 방산 드론 기업’ 선정 등 글로벌 무대에서 기술력을 인정받았다.
특히 올해 중동 및 동남아시아 국가를 중심으로 방산 드론 수출이 본격화되며 수출 확대에 기여했으며, 향후 다양한 지역으로 시장을 확대해 장기적인 글로벌 성장 기반을 구축할 계획이다.
한편 니어스랩은 올해 국토교통부 ‘드론 우수사업자’ 인증도 획득했다. 드론 우수사업자 인증 기업은 드론 상용화 지원사업 및 해외 진출 지원사업 가점, 비행 승인 절차 간소화 등의 혜택을 받아 국내외 사업 확장 속도를 높일 수 있다.
최재혁 대표는 “300만불 수출의 탑 수상은 니어스랩의 자율비행 AI 기술이 풍력발전 점검을 넘어 글로벌 방산 시장에서도 통한다는 것을 증명한 결과”라며, “드론 우수사업자 선정의 지원을 바탕으로 내년에는 더 많은 국가에서 니어스랩 드론이 활용될 수 있도록 수출 확대에 박차를 가하겠다”고 말했다.

Nearslab wins $3 Million Export Tower Award
Nearslab (CEO Choi Jae-hyuk), a drone AI specialist, announced on the 8th that it had won the "$3 Million Export Tower" award at the 62nd Trade Day ceremony hosted by the Korea International Trade Association. This marks the second consecutive year the company has achieved this award, following last year's "$2 Million Export Tower" award. Key factors cited for this achievement include the stable export of its wind power generation inspection solution and its entry into the defense industry.
Nears Lab has been recognized for its technological prowess on the global stage, winning the CES 2025 Best Innovation Award and the Edison Awards this year, and being selected as one of Defense Post's "Top 100 Global Defense Drone Companies" through its strategy of transferring autonomous flight technology proven in the civilian market to the defense sector.
In particular, defense drone exports have been in full swing this year, particularly to countries in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, contributing to export expansion. The company plans to expand its market to various regions in the future, establishing a foundation for long-term global growth.
Meanwhile, Nearslab also received certification as an "Excellent Drone Operator" from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport this year. Companies certified as "Excellent Drone Operators" can receive benefits such as additional points for drone commercialization and overseas expansion support projects, and simplified flight approval procedures, accelerating their domestic and international business expansion.
CEO Choi Jae-hyuk said, “Winning the $3 million Export Tower Award proves that Nearslab’s autonomous flight AI technology is applicable not only to wind power generation inspection but also to the global defense market.” He added, “Based on the support of being selected as an excellent drone business operator, we will accelerate export expansion next year so that Nearslab drones can be used in more countries.”

Nearslab (PDG : Choi Jae-hyuk), spécialiste de l'IA pour drones, a annoncé le 8 avoir remporté le prix « Tour d'exportation de 3 millions de dollars » lors de la 62e cérémonie de la Journée du commerce organisée par l'Association coréenne du commerce international. C'est la deuxième année consécutive que l'entreprise reçoit cette distinction, après avoir obtenu le prix « Tour d'exportation de 2 millions de dollars » l'année dernière. Parmi les principaux facteurs de cette réussite figurent la stabilité des exportations de sa solution d'inspection des éoliennes et son entrée sur le marché de la défense.
Nears Lab a été reconnue pour son expertise technologique sur la scène mondiale, remportant le prix de la meilleure innovation du CES 2025 et les Edison Awards cette année, et étant sélectionnée comme l'une des « 100 meilleures entreprises mondiales de drones de défense » par Defense Post grâce à sa stratégie de transfert de la technologie de vol autonome éprouvée sur le marché civil vers le secteur de la défense.
