중소벤처기업부(장관 한성숙)는 국내 글로벌 스타트업 페스티벌 ‘컴업(COMEUP) 2025’가 10일 서울 코엑스에서 공식 개막했다고 밝혔다. 컴업은 2019년부터 매년 개최되는 행사로, 국내외 혁신 스타트업과 투자자, 글로벌 기업 등이 참여하는 대표 창업 교류 플랫폼이다.
올해 7회를 맞은 컴업 2025는 ‘Recode the Future’를 슬로건으로 12월 10일부터 12일까지 3일간 진행된다. 테크, 글로벌, 기업가 정신을 주요 주제로 전시, 컨퍼런스, IR, 오픈이노베이션 프로그램이 운영된다.
개막식에 앞서 한성숙 장관은 사우디 국영 AI 기업 휴메인(HUMAIN)의 타렉 아민 대표와 면담을 가졌다. 휴메인은 사우디 국부펀드(PIF)가 2025년 5월 설립한 AI 전문기업으로, 차세대 데이터센터와 AI 인프라, 초거대 언어모델 등 AI 전 분야에 대한 대규모 투자를 진행하고 있다. 양측은 한국 AI 스타트업의 사우디 진출 확대, 휴메인의 한국 사무소 설치 검토, 양국 AI·딥테크 협력 강화 방안 등을 논의했다.
10일 열린 개막식에서는 올해 예비 유니콘으로 선정된 AI 검색엔진 기업 라이너의 김진우 대표가 퍼포먼스를 통해 행사 개막을 알렸다. 컴업 2025에는 46개국 스타트업이 참여하며, 총 275개사가 혁신 기술과 서비스를 전시한다. 사우디·인도 등 7개국은 국가관을 운영한다.
주요 연사로는 휴메인 타렉 아민 CEO와 리벨리온 박성현 대표가 참여해 ‘Recode the Future’를 주제로 기조연설을 진행했다. 이외에도 앱 생태계, 기후기술, Z세대 창업가, 창업가 가족 이야기 등 다양한 주제의 컨퍼런스가 마련됐다.
행사는 글로벌 VC, CVC, 액셀러레이터가 대거 참여해 스타트업과의 만남을 주선하고, 총 2,000건 이상의 비즈니스 매칭을 목표로 운영된다. 별도 사전 매칭 없이 투자자와 기업 부스를 직접 방문할 수 있는 현장형 네트워킹도 강화됐다.
또한 벤처·창업 활성화 유공 포상 시상식, OpenData X AI 챌린지 개막식, ‘도전! K-스타트업 2025’ 왕중왕전, K-스타트업 그랜드 챌린지 데모데이 등 다양한 연계 행사도 병행된다.
한성숙 장관은 “혁신의 중심에는 도전하는 스타트업이 있으며, 다양한 주체들이 소통할 수 있는 장을 마련하는 것이 중요하다”며 “컴업 2025가 글로벌 협력의 기반을 강화하는 계기가 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.

ComeUp 2025 Opens… "Global Startup Cooperation Expands, AI Ecosystem Discussions Begin in Full Swing"
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Han Sung-sook) announced that the domestic global startup festival "COMEUP 2025" officially opened on the 10th at COEX in Seoul. Held annually since 2019, COMEUP is a leading startup exchange platform for domestic and international innovative startups, investors, and global companies.
Now in its seventh year, ComeUp 2025 will run for three days from December 10th to 12th under the slogan "Recode the Future." The main themes of the event include technology, globalization, and entrepreneurship, featuring exhibitions, conferences, investor relations (IR), and open innovation programs.
Prior to the opening ceremony, Minister Han Seong-sook met with Tarek Amin, CEO of HUMAIN, a Saudi state-owned AI company. HUMAIN, an AI company established by the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) in May 2025, is making large-scale investments across all areas of AI, including next-generation data centers, AI infrastructure, and large-scale language models. The two sides discussed expanding the presence of Korean AI startups in Saudi Arabia, reviewing the establishment of HUMAIN's Korean office, and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in AI and deep technology.
At the opening ceremony held on the 10th, Jinwoo Kim, CEO of Liner, an AI search engine company selected as a potential unicorn this year, opened the event with a performance. ComeUp 2025 will feature startups from 46 countries, with a total of 275 companies exhibiting innovative technologies and services. Seven countries, including Saudi Arabia and India, will operate national pavilions.
Keynote speakers included Humain CEO Tarek Amin and Rebellion CEO Park Sung-hyun, who delivered keynote addresses on the topic of "Recode the Future." The conference also featured a variety of topics, including the app ecosystem, climate technology, Generation Z entrepreneurs, and stories of entrepreneurial families.
The event will feature a large number of global VCs, CVCs, and accelerators, arranging meetings with startups and aiming for over 2,000 business matches. On-site networking has also been strengthened, allowing investors to visit company booths directly without prior matching.
In addition, various related events will be held in parallel, such as the Venture and Startup Activation Award Ceremony, the OpenData X AI Challenge Opening Ceremony, the 'Challenge! K-Startup 2025' King of Kings Competition, and the K-Startup Grand Challenge Demo Day.
Minister Han Seong-sook said, “At the center of innovation are startups that take on challenges, and it is important to create a platform where diverse stakeholders can communicate,” adding, “I hope that ComeUp 2025 will serve as an opportunity to strengthen the foundation for global cooperation.”

10日開かれた開幕式では今年予備ユニコーンに選ばれたAI検索エンジン企業ライナーのキム・ジンウ代表がパフォーマンスを通じて行事開幕を知らせた。 Commup 2025には46カ国のスタートアップが参加し、合計275社が革新技術とサービスを展示する。サウジ・インドなど7カ国は国家観を運営する。

ハン・ソンスク長官は「革新の中心には挑戦するスタートアップがあり、多様な主体がコミュニケーションできる場を設けることが重要だ」とし「コムアップ２０２５がグローバル協力の基盤を強化するきっかけになることを期待する」と話した。

Organisé chaque année depuis 2019, COMEUP est une plateforme d'échange de premier plan pour les startups innovantes, les investisseurs et les entreprises internationales, tant en Chine qu'à l'étranger.
Pour sa septième édition, ComeUp 2025 se déroulera du 10 au 12 décembre sous le slogan « Recoder l’avenir ». Les principaux thèmes de l’événement sont la technologie, la mondialisation et l’entrepreneuriat, avec des expositions, des conférences, des relations investisseurs et des programmes d’innovation ouverte.
Avant la cérémonie d'ouverture, la ministre Han Seong-sook a rencontré Tarek Amin, PDG de HUMAIN, une entreprise saoudienne d'intelligence artificielle détenue par l'État. HUMAIN, créée par le Fonds d'investissement public saoudien (PIF) en mai 2025, investit massivement dans tous les domaines de l'IA, notamment les centres de données de nouvelle génération, l'infrastructure d'IA et les modèles de langage à grande échelle.
