애그테크 스타트업 긴트는 145억원 규모의 프리IPO(상장 전 지분투자) 투자를 유치했다고 밝혔다. 이번 투자에는 해외 시장 진출 및 기술 개발 과정에서 협력할 전략적 투자자들이 다수 참여한 것이 특징이다.
긴트의 인도네시아 진출을 지원 중인 인도네시아 투자사 피티인도애그리텍인베스트먼트(PT. Indo Agritech Investment)가 투자에 참여했으며, LIG넥스원과 IBK캐피탈은 공동으로 조성한 ‘LIG넥스원-IBK캐피탈 방산혁신 신기술투자조합 제1호’를 통해 투자했다. 또한 호반그룹의 기업형 벤처캐피탈인 플랜에이치벤처스와 엑스플로인베스트먼트는 ‘플랜에이치-엑스플로 그린스마트시티 벤처투자조합’을 통해 자금을 집행했다. 재무적 투자자로는 한국산업은행과 빌랑스인베스트먼트가 참여했다.
긴트는 이번 투자 유치를 계기로 해외 시장 개척과 농업용 로보틱스 기술 개발에 속도를 낼 계획이다. 2022년 전자제어 및 자율주행 기술을 기반으로 농업용 자율주행 키트 ‘플루바 오토’를 출시했으며, 이듬해 인도네시아와 일본 시장에 진출했다. 현재는 각국의 기관 및 기업과 협력해 농업 첨단 기술 개발과 시장 도입을 추진하고 있으며, 일본에는 해외 시장 개척을 위한 현지 법인을 설립했다.
자율주행 솔루션 외에도 인공지능 기반 작물 관리 프로그램, 방제 로봇, 전기 트랙터 등이 개발 및 실증 단계에 있다. 긴트는 농업 인력 부족과 기후 변화 등 농업 환경이 직면한 과제를 해결할 수 있는 제품을 순차적으로 선보일 계획이다.

Agtech startup Gint announced that it has secured 14.5 billion won in pre-IPO funding. This round is notable for the participation of several strategic investors who will collaborate with the company in its overseas market expansion and technology development.
PT. Indo Agritech Investment, an Indonesian investment firm supporting Gint's expansion into Indonesia, participated in the investment, while LIG Nex1 and IBK Capital invested through the 'LIG Nex1-IBK Capital Defense Innovation New Technology Investment Fund No. 1' jointly established. In addition, Hoban Group's corporate venture capitals, Plan H Ventures and Xplo Investment, executed the funds through the 'Plan H-Xplo Green Smart City Venture Investment Fund'. Korea Development Bank and Villans Investment participated as financial investors.
With this investment, Gint plans to accelerate its overseas market expansion and the development of agricultural robotics technology. In 2022, it launched the "Fluva Auto," an autonomous driving kit for agriculture based on electronic control and autonomous driving technology, and entered the Indonesian and Japanese markets the following year. Currently, it is collaborating with organizations and companies in various countries to develop advanced agricultural technologies and introduce them to the market. It has also established a local subsidiary in Japan to explore overseas markets.
In addition to autonomous driving solutions, AI-based crop management programs, pesticide robots, and electric tractors are in the development and validation stages. Gint plans to sequentially introduce products that can address challenges facing the agricultural environment, such as labor shortages and climate change.

ギントは今回の投資誘致を契機に海外市場開拓と農業用ロボティクス技術開発にスピードを出す計画だ。 2022年、電子制御および自律走行技術を基盤に農業用自律走行キット「フルバオート」を発売し、翌年インドネシアと日本市場に進出した。現在は各国の機関や企業と協力して農業先端技術開発と市場導入を推進しており、日本には海外市場開拓のための現地法人を設立した。
自律走行ソリューションに加えて、人工知能ベースの作物管理プログラム、防除ロボット、電気トラクターなどが開発および実証段階にある。ギントは農業人材不足や気候変動など農業環境が直面した課題を解決できる製品を順次披露する計画だ。
