AI 임베디드 솔루션 전문기업 MDS테크의 핵심 계열사 MDS인텔리전스(대표 지창건, 이정승)는 자사 SSL/TLS 인증서 수명주기 관리 솔루션 ‘네오서트매니저(NeoCertManager)’가 2025 첨단안전산업 제품 및 기술 대상에서 산업통상부 장관상을 수상했다고 17일 밝혔다.
‘첨단안전산업 제품 및 기술 대상’은 한국첨단안전산업협회(KOHSIA)가 주관하며, 첨단 안전기술 개발과 산업 발전 기여도를 평가해 기업과 기관을 선정한다. 심사는 산·학·연·관 전문가위원단이 기술성, 산업 기여도, 공적 사항을 중심으로 다단계 평가를 진행했다.
네오서트매니저는 순수 국산 SSL/TLS 인증서 생애주기 관리(CLM, Certificate Lifecycle Management) 솔루션으로, 인증서 발급·탐색·배포·자동갱신·교체 등 전체 과정을 중앙에서 자동화해 관리 효율을 높인다. 최근 글로벌 제로트러스트 정책 강화로 SSL 인증서 유효기간이 398일에서 47일로 단축됨에 따라 인증서 만료로 인한 장애 위험이 증가하고 있다. MDS인텔리전스 관계자는 “네오서트매니저는 짧아진 인증서 유효기간 환경에서도 기업이 무중단으로 보안 인프라를 운영할 수 있도록 지원한다”고 설명했다.
이 솔루션은 OASIS KMIP 3.0 국제 표준을 준용하며, 다양한 보안 장비 및 시스템과 연동 가능하다. 글로벌 인증기관과 연계를 기본 제공하며, 탐색된 인증서를 정책 기반으로 자동 배포·갱신·교체해 휴먼 에러를 최소화하고 관리 효율을 극대화한다. 국내 IT 환경에 최적화된 설계로 외산 솔루션 대비 50% 이상 비용 절감, 빠른 기술 지원, 국내 보안 장비와의 연동성을 장점으로 내세운다.
MDS인텔리전스는 국내 금융·통신·유통 대기업을 대상으로 한 PoC를 통해 성능과 안정성을 검증했으며, 이를 기반으로 일본 IT 기업들과 협력해 해외 시장 진출도 본격화하고 있다.
