심플랫폼은 해당 사업을 통해 장애인 국가대표 선수단을 대상으로 한 AI 기반 배드민턴 코칭 솔루션을 개발하고, 스포츠 분야에 특화된 인공지능 기술을 성공적으로 실증했다. 이를 통해 산업 현장 중심의 AI 기술을 공공 영역과 스포츠 분야로 확장한 성과를 인정받았다.
이번에 선보인 AI 코칭 솔루션은 선수 경기 영상을 인공지능이 자동 분석해 개인별 동작과 스윙 패턴, 전략 요소를 시각화된 데이터로 제공하는 것이 특징이다. 기존에 8시간 이상 소요되던 경기 분석 시간을 1시간 이내로 단축했으며, 데이터 기반의 맞춤형 전략 수립을 지원해 코칭의 효율성과 정확성을 높였다. 특히 코치의 경험과 직관에 의존하던 기존 훈련 방식에서 벗어나 과학적 훈련 체계로의 전환을 가능하게 했다는 평가다.
심플랫폼은 해당 기술을 통해 AI의 사회적 확산에도 기여하고 있다. 최근 두바이에서 열린 세계 최대 정보통신 전시회 GITEX 2025에 AI 코칭 솔루션을 출품했으며, 아시아장애인체육회와의 협력을 통해 해외 시장 진출과 수출 가능성도 모색하고 있다.

The newly unveiled AI coaching solution features AI-powered automatic analysis of player performance videos, providing visualized data depicting individual movements, swing patterns, and strategic elements. This solution reduces match analysis time from over eight hours to less than one hour, and supports data-driven, personalized strategy development, enhancing coaching efficiency and accuracy. It is particularly noteworthy for enabling a shift from traditional training methods, which relied on coaches' experience and intuition, to a more scientific training system.
Simple Platform is also contributing to the social diffusion of AI through this technology. It recently exhibited its AI coaching solution at GITEX 2025, the world's largest information and communications technology exhibition held in Dubai. It is also exploring overseas market expansion and export opportunities through collaboration with the Asian Para Sports Council.
The company plans to expand the scope of its AI technology application to various sports and industries, including badminton.
