무인 스터디카페 앤딩스터디카페와 독립형 공유오피스 앤딩스페이스를 운영하는 무인화연구소는 임팩트 투자사 MYSC로부터 투자를 유치했다고 밝혔다. 투자 금액과 기업가치는 공개되지 않았다.
2022년 11월 설립된 무인화연구소는 현재 전국 42개 점포를 운영하며 공간 운영 데이터를 축적해 왔다. AIoT, 안면인식 출입 시스템, 실시간 모니터링, AI 기반 학습관리 시스템을 적용해 고도화된 무인 운영 체계를 구축했다. 회사는 창업 3년 만에 매출 20억5000만 원을 기록했으며, 전년 대비 약 12배 성장과 함께 영업이익률 11.8%를 달성했다. 업계에서 폐점률 0%를 유지하고 있는 점도 특징이다.
무인화연구소는 지난해 8월 프라이머로부터 시드 투자를 유치한 데 이어 이번 투자를 통해 연속적인 성장 가능성을 다시 한 번 확인했다. 최근에는 부산 하단역 인근에 앤딩스페이스 지점을 개점하며 무인 운영 모델을 공유오피스 시장으로 확장했다.
앤딩스페이스 부산하단역점은 전실 독립형 구조와 방음 설계를 적용하고, 모션 데스크와 원격 출입·냉난방·전력 제어 시스템을 도입해 업무 집중도와 운영 효율성을 동시에 고려한 공간으로 구성됐다.
무인화연구소는 이번 투자 유치를 계기로 기술 고도화와 함께 소형 상권 중심의 공간 확장 전략을 추진할 계획이다. 투자사 MYSC는 무인 운영 모델이 운영 비용 절감과 함께 구도심 내 유휴 공간 및 노후 건물 활용 측면에서 지역 활성화 가능성을 지닌 점에 주목했다고 설명했다.

Following its seed investment from Primer last August, the Unmanned Research Institute has once again confirmed its potential for continued growth through this investment. Recently, it expanded its unmanned operation model into the shared office market by opening an Ending Space branch near Hadan Station in Busan.
Ending Space Busan Hadan Station Branch is a space that considers both work concentration and operational efficiency by applying a fully independent structure and soundproofing design, and introducing a motion desk and remote access, heating and cooling, and power control system.
With this investment, the Unmanned Research Institute plans to pursue a strategy of technological advancement and spatial expansion focused on small commercial districts. Investor MYSC explained that it recognized the potential of unmanned operation models to reduce operating costs and revitalize neighborhoods by utilizing idle space and aging buildings in downtown areas.
