분산형 AI 클라우드 스타트업 에이아이브는 블루포인트파트너스, 로우파트너스, AI엔젤클럽으로부터 6억 원 규모의 프리A(Pre-A) 투자를 유치했다고 28일 밝혔다. 이번 투자로 누적 투자 유치액은 21억 원을 기록했다.
에이아이브는 중앙 데이터센터에 의존하지 않고 전 세계 유휴 GPU 자원을 연결하는 분산형 컴퓨팅 아키텍처 기반의 AI 인프라를 제공한다. 에어클라우드(Air Cloud)를 통해 전국 PC방 네트워크 보유 파트너사와 협력, 유휴 GPU 자원을 확보하고 지역별 핵심 거점에 개인형 LLM 디바이스를 구축해 이기종 분산 자원을 통합 활용하고 있다.
이를 통해 데이터센터 없이도 최대 40% 비용 절감된 가격으로 안정적인 AI 추론 환경을 제공하며, 복잡한 인프라 설정이나 전문 인력 없이도 AI 모델을 실행·배포할 수 있도록 지원한다.
에이아이브는 LG U+ SHIFT, 삼성 C-Lab, SK텔레콤 AI 엑셀러레이팅 프로그램 등 주요 IT기업 기술·사업 검증 프로그램을 통해 분산형 AI 클라우드의 기술력과 사업성을 검증했다. 이번 투자로 엔터프라이즈향 클라우드 기술 고도화와 사업 확장에 속도를 낼 계획이다.
