통합 에너지 솔루션 기업 렉스이노베이션은 2월 2일 목포공업고등학교와 나주공업고등학교와 각각 산학협력 협약을 체결하고, 지역과 연계한 현장 중심 인재 양성 체계를 강화한다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 학교 교육과 기업의 현장 수요를 연계해 학생들에게 산업 현장 경험과 진로 설계 기회를 제공하고, 지역 기업의 인력 수급 기반을 확대하는 데 목적이 있다. 렉스이노베이션은 협약을 통해 현장견학, 현장실습, 산업체 체험학습 등 교육 프로그램을 확대하고, 실무 중심 교육과정 자문과 직무 분석 지원을 병행할 계획이다.
특히 우수 인재에 대한 채용 연계를 주요 협력 과제로 설정해, 졸업 예정자와 졸업생 가운데 지역 우수 인재를 선발하고 매년 일정 규모 이상의 채용을 추진하는 체계를 구축했다. 이를 통해 교육, 실습, 채용으로 이어지는 경로를 명확히 하고 지역 청년의 정착과 산업 현장의 인력 미스매치 해소를 도모한다는 방침이다.
회사 측은 이번 협약을 계기로 목포시와 나주시를 중심으로 학교, 기업, 지역이 함께 성장하는 산학협력 모델을 확대하고, 에너지 신산업 분야의 실무형 인재 양성과 지역 일자리 창출에 기여할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
