데이터 파운드리 기업 바운드포가 AI 인프라·솔루션 전문 기업 오픈네트웍시스템과 피지컬 AI 및 대형세계모델(Large World Model, LWM) 상용화를 위한 전략적 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 20일 밝혔다.
최근 글로벌 기업들은 물리 법칙 기반 산업용 월드모델과 범용 월드모델 개발에 속도를 내고 있으며, 국내에서도 엔비디아 옴니버스를 활용한 로봇 소프트웨어 협업과 실증 사례가 이어지는 등 피지컬 AI 기술 경쟁이 본격화하고 있다.
이번 협약은 대형세계모델 산업 적용 과정에서 발생하는 시뮬레이션과 현실 간 격차(Sim-to-Real) 문제를 해결하기 위해 체결됐다. 양사는 바운드포의 로보틱스 데이터 설계·구축 경험과 오픈네트웍시스템의 고성능 컴퓨팅(HPC) 인프라 설계 역량을 결합해 데이터 생성부터 모델 학습·검증·배포까지 이어지는 통합 파이프라인을 마련할 계획이다.
2019년 설립된 바운드포는 AI 모델 개발에 필요한 ‘파운데이션 데이터’를 턴키 방식으로 제공하며, 엔비디아 옴니버스 환경에서 활용 가능한 물리 데이터 패키지를 제공한다. 현실 데이터 수집과 시뮬레이션 증강, 전문가 검증을 거쳐 물리 환경 재현도를 97% 이상으로 고도화한 경험을 보유하고 있다. 제조 AI 전환(M.AX) 사업에서 한국전자기술연구원(KETI), 한국자동차연구원(KATECH) 등 주요 국책 연구기관의 약 50%가 바운드포 데이터를 활용했으며, 삼성전자, 네이버랩스, 신한카드 등과 AI 데이터 팩토리 구축 경험도 갖추고 있다.
오픈네트웍시스템은 27년간 금융·제조 등 산업 분야에서 대규모 IT 인프라를 설계·운영해 왔으며, HPC 환경 구축 경험과 자체 시스템 관리 솔루션 ‘오르카이(Orcai SMS)’, LLM 기반 AI 서비스 플랫폼 ‘디파이(Dify)’ 운영 경험을 보유하고 있다.
바운드포 황인호 대표는 “대형세계모델 상용화는 데이터와 컴퓨팅 파워가 끊김 없이 연결될 때 가능하다”며 “엔비디아 옴니버스 기반 물리 데이터 구축 역량과 오픈네트웍시스템의 인프라 설계 역량을 결합해 시뮬레이션과 현실 간 격차 없는 초연결 환경을 구현하겠다”고 밝혔다.
오픈네트웍시스템 박봉균 대표는 “데이터 구축부터 모델 학습·배포까지 원스톱 지원 가능한 최적 인프라 환경을 설계하겠다”며 “월드모델 구동에 최적화된 차세대 AI 컴퓨팅 아키텍처 구축에 집중하겠다”고 말했다.

Data foundry company Boundfor announced on the 20th that it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with AI infrastructure and solution specialist Open Network Systems for the commercialization of physical AI and Large World Model (LWM).
Recently, global companies are accelerating the development of industrial and general-purpose world models based on the laws of physics. In Korea, competition in physical AI technology is intensifying, with collaborative robot software and demonstration cases utilizing NVIDIA Omniverse continuing.
This agreement aims to address the gap between simulation and reality (Sim-to-Real) that arises during the application of large-scale world models to the industry. The two companies plan to combine Boundfor's robotics data design and construction experience with Open Network Systems' high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure design capabilities to establish an integrated pipeline spanning data generation, model training, validation, and deployment.
Founded in 2019, Boundfor provides turnkey "Foundation Data" required for AI model development and offers a physical data package usable within the NVIDIA Omniverse environment. Through real-world data collection, simulation augmentation, and expert verification, the company has advanced physical environment reproducibility to over 97%. Approximately 50% of major national research institutes, including the Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI) and the Korea Automotive Technology Institute (KATECH), have utilized Boundfor data in the Manufacturing AI Transformation (M.AX) project. The company also has experience building AI data factories with companies such as Samsung Electronics, Naver Labs, and Shinhan Card.
Open Network Systems has been designing and operating large-scale IT infrastructure in industries such as finance and manufacturing for 27 years, and has experience in building HPC environments, operating its own system management solution, 'Orcai SMS', and LLM-based AI service platform, 'Dify'.
Bound4 CEO Hwang In-ho said, “Commercialization of large-scale world models is possible when data and computing power are seamlessly connected,” and “We will combine NVIDIA’s Omniverse-based physical data construction capabilities with the Open Network System’s infrastructure design capabilities to create a hyper-connected environment without a gap between simulation and reality.”
Open Network System CEO Park Bong-gyun said, “We will design an optimal infrastructure environment that can provide one-stop support from data construction to model learning and deployment,” and “We will focus on building a next-generation AI computing architecture optimized for operating the world model.”

La société de fonderie de données Boundfor a annoncé le 20 qu'elle avait signé un protocole d'accord stratégique avec Open Network Systems, spécialiste des infrastructures et solutions d'IA, pour la commercialisation de l'IA physique et du Large World Model (LWM).
