바이오바이츠는 캐나다 근감소증 분자진단 전문기업 Myomar Molecular Inc.(이하 Myomar)와 전략적 업무협약(MOU)과 비밀유지협약(NDA)을 체결하고, 글로벌 시장 진출 계획을 본격화한다고 밝혔다.
바이오바이츠는 서울창업허브 공덕 오픈이노베이션 지원사업을 통해 현대건설과 협력하며 대기업과의 기술 실증과 사업화 경험을 축적했다. 이를 바탕으로 글로벌 시장 진출을 위한 파트너십 기반을 강화해왔다.
이번 협약을 통해 바이오바이츠는 AI 기반 근감소증 환자 혈액·조직 데이터 분석 기술 ‘사코파인딩(Sarco-Finding)’을 활용해 Myomar가 보유한 근감소증 환자 생체 시료를 분석하고, 차세대 진단 및 치료 솔루션 개발에 나선다. 이 과정에서 바이오바이츠가 구축 중인 다기관 근감소증 바이오뱅크 ‘머슬 뱅크(Muscle Bank, M-Bank)’를 글로벌 수준으로 확장하며 임상적 근거 확보가 가능할 것으로 예상된다.
바이오바이츠 이정우 대표는 “이번 협력은 단순 기술 공유를 넘어 근감소증 사업의 글로벌 기준을 마련할 수 있는 기회”라며 “양사의 데이터와 분석 기술을 활용해 근감소증 신약 개발까지 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편, 글로벌 근감소증 진단 및 치료 시장에서는 관련 AI 및 분자진단 기술 개발을 강화하고 있다.
BioVites Signs Strategic MOU with Myomar
BioVites announced that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) and a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with Myomar Molecular Inc. (hereinafter referred to as Myomar), a Canadian company specializing in molecular diagnostics for sarcopenia, and is launching its plans to enter the global market in earnest.
Biobits has accumulated experience in technology validation and commercialization with large corporations through collaboration with Hyundai Engineering & Construction through the Seoul Startup Hub Gongdeok Open Innovation Support Project. Building on this experience, the company has strengthened its partnership foundation for global market expansion.
Through this agreement, BioBites will utilize "Sarco-Finding," an AI-based blood and tissue data analysis technology for sarcopenia patients, to analyze Myomar's sarcopenia patient biospecimens and develop next-generation diagnostic and treatment solutions. This process is expected to expand BioBites' multi-center sarcopenia biobank, "Muscle Bank (M-Bank)," to a global level, securing clinical evidence.
BioVites CEO Lee Jeong-woo said, “This collaboration goes beyond simple technology sharing and is an opportunity to establish a global standard for the sarcopenia business,” adding, “We will continue to develop new sarcopenia drugs by utilizing the data and analysis technologies of both companies.”
Meanwhile, the global sarcopenia diagnosis and treatment market is strengthening the development of related AI and molecular diagnostic technologies.

今回の条約を通じて、バイオバイツはAIベースの筋減少症患者血液・組織データ分析技術「Sarco-Finding」を活用し、Myomarが保有する筋減少症患者の生体試料を分析し、次世代診断および治療ソリューションの開発に乗り出す。この過程で、バイオバイトが構築中の多機関筋減小症バイオバンク「マスクルバンク（Muscle Bank、M-Bank）」をグローバルレベルに拡張し、臨床的根拠確保が可能であると予想される。
バイオバイツのイ・ジョンウ代表は「今回の協力は、単純技術共有を超えて筋減小症事業のグローバル基準を設ける機会」とし「両社のデータと分析技術を活用して近減小症新薬開発まで続ける」と明らかにした。
一方、グローバル筋減少症診断および治療市場では、関連AIおよび分子診断技術の開発を強化している。

Biobits通过首尔创业中心孔德开放创新支持项目与现代建设公司合作，积累了与大型企业进行技术验证和商业化的经验。基于这些经验，公司进一步加强了其合作伙伴关系，以拓展全球市场。
通过这项协议，BioBites将利用其人工智能血液和组织数据分析技术“Sarco-Finding”（专为肌少症患者设计），分析Myomar的肌少症患者生物样本，并开发新一代诊断和治疗方案。此举有望将BioBites的多中心肌少症生物样本库“肌肉库（M-Bank）”扩展至全球范围，从而获得临床证据。

(ci-après dénommée Myomar), une société canadienne spécialisée dans le diagnostic moléculaire de la sarcopénie, et lance ses plans pour entrer sérieusement sur le marché mondial.
Biobits a acquis une solide expérience en matière de validation et de commercialisation de technologies auprès de grandes entreprises grâce à sa collaboration avec Hyundai Engineering & Construction dans le cadre du projet de soutien à l'innovation ouverte Gongdeok du Seoul Startup Hub. Forte de cette expérience, la société a consolidé ses partenariats en vue de son expansion sur le marché mondial.
Grâce à cet accord, BioBites utilisera « Sarco-Finding », une technologie d'analyse de données sanguines et tissulaires basée sur l'IA et dédiée aux patients atteints de sarcopénie, pour analyser les échantillons biologiques de patients atteints de sarcopénie de Myomar et développer des solutions de diagnostic et de traitement de nouvelle génération.
