놀유니버스(대표 이철웅)는 지난 5일 우리은행, 코나아이와 외국인 전용 선불카드 기반 금융서비스 제공을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 13일 밝혔다. 이번 협력은 국내를 방문하는 외국인 관광객의 결제 편의성과 금융 접근성을 개선하기 위해 추진됐다.
3사는 외국인 전용 선불카드를 공동으로 제공할 예정이며, 오는 4월 서비스 출시를 목표로 시스템 연동과 제휴 인프라 구축을 진행할 계획이다. 해당 서비스는 놀유니버스가 운영하는 여행·티켓·체험 플랫폼 ‘NOL World’를 통해 제공되며, ▲K-공연 티켓·관광 패키지와 연계된 상품 ▲카드 단독 구매가 가능한 일반형 상품으로 구성된다.
코나아이는 국내 카드 결제 인프라를 활용해 교통카드 기능과 온·오프라인 가맹점 결제를 지원하며, 외국인 관광객이 자주 이용하는 주요 가맹점에서 추가 혜택도 제공할 예정이다. 우리은행은 외국인 관광객이 입국 즉시 카드를 사용할 수 있도록 인천공항 환전소에서 카드 교부를 지원하고, 국내 사용 시 우대 환율 혜택을 제공한다. 또한 은행의 무인환전기와 ATM을 통해 환전과 충전 서비스를 제공해 이용 편의를 높일 계획이다.
홍성규 놀유니버스 경영전략 리더는 “이번 선불카드 서비스는 외국인을 대상으로 플랫폼 운영을 넘어 여행 전 과정을 아우르는 서비스로 확장하는 계기”라며 “NOL World 플랫폼과 연계한 생태계를 구축하며 외국인 방한 여정 전반에서 실질적인 편의를 제공할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
3사는 향후 추가 금융 기능을 포함해 외국인 특화 금융서비스 경쟁력을 지속적으로 강화할 계획이다.
최근 국내 관광 산업과 핀테크 업계에서는 외국인 관광객 대상 선불카드 및 간편 결제 서비스가 확대되며, 관광 편의성과 금융 접근성을 동시에 높이는 시도가 증가하고 있다.

Noluniverse Signs Partnership with Woori Bank and Kona I for Prepaid Card Service for Foreigners
Noluniverse (CEO Lee Cheol-woong) announced on the 13th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Woori Bank and Kona I on the 5th to provide prepaid card-based financial services exclusively for foreigners. This collaboration aims to improve payment convenience and financial accessibility for foreign tourists visiting Korea.
The three companies plan to jointly offer a prepaid card exclusively for foreigners and intend to proceed with system integration and the establishment of partnership infrastructure with the goal of launching the service this coming April. The service will be provided through 'NOL World,' a travel, ticket, and experience platform operated by Nol Universe, and will consist of products linked to K-performance tickets and tourism packages, as well as a standard product that allows for standalone card purchases.
Kona I will leverage domestic card payment infrastructure to support transportation card functions and payments at online and offline merchants, and plans to offer additional benefits at major merchants frequently visited by foreign tourists. Woori Bank will support card issuance at currency exchange counters at Incheon Airport so that foreign tourists can use the cards immediately upon arrival, and will provide preferential exchange rates for domestic use. Furthermore, the bank plans to enhance user convenience by offering currency exchange and top-up services through its unmanned currency exchange machines and ATMs.
Hong Seong-gyu, the business strategy leader of Nol Universe, said, “This prepaid card service is an opportunity to expand beyond platform operation for foreigners to a service that encompasses the entire travel process,” and “We will build an ecosystem linked to the NOL World platform to provide practical convenience throughout the entire trip for foreigners visiting Korea.”
The three companies plan to continuously strengthen their competitiveness in foreign-focused financial services, including by adding additional financial functions in the future.
Recently, the domestic tourism and fintech industries are expanding prepaid card and simple payment services for foreign tourists, and efforts are increasing to simultaneously improve tourism convenience and financial accessibility.

コナアイは国内カード決済インフラを活用して交通カード機能とオン・オフライン加盟店決済を支援し、外国人観光客が頻繁に利用する主要加盟店で追加特典も提供する予定だ。ウリ銀行は、外国人観光客が入国直ちにカードを使用できるように仁川空港両替所でカード交付を支援し、国内使用時の優遇為替レート特典を提供する。また、銀行の無人両替機とATMを通じて両替と充電サービスを提供し、利用便宜を高める計画だ。
ホン・ソンギュノルユニバース経営戦略リーダーは「今回のプリペイドカードサービスは外国人を対象にプラットフォーム運営を超えて旅行全過程を合わせるサービスに拡張するきっかけ」とし「NOL Worldプラットフォームと連携したエコシステムを構築し、外国人訪韓旅程全体で実質的な便宜を提供する」と明らかにした。
3社は今後追加金融機能を含め、外国人特化金融サービス競争力を持続的に強化する計画だ。
近年、国内観光産業とフィンテック業界では外国人観光客向けプリペイドカードや簡易決済サービスが拡大し、観光利便性と金融アクセス性を同時に高める試みが増加している。

Nol Universe (PDG : Lee Cheol-woong) a annoncé le 13 avoir signé, le 5, un protocole d'accord avec Woori Bank et Kona I pour proposer des services financiers par cartes prépayées exclusivement destinés aux étrangers. Cette collaboration vise à faciliter les paiements et à améliorer l'accès aux services financiers pour les touristes étrangers visitant la Corée.
Les trois entreprises prévoient de proposer conjointement une carte prépayée exclusivement réservée aux étrangers. Elles envisagent d'intégrer leurs systèmes et de mettre en place une infrastructure de partenariat afin de lancer le service en avril. Ce service sera accessible via « NOL World », une plateforme de voyages, de billetterie et d'expériences exploitée par Nol Universe. Il comprendra des produits liés aux billets de spectacles coréens et aux forfaits touristiques, ainsi que des produits plus courants pouvant être achetés avec la carte seule.
Kona I s'appuiera sur l'infrastructure de paiement par carte nationale pour faciliter l'utilisation des cartes de transport et les paiements chez les commerçants en ligne et physiques. Elle offrira également des avantages supplémentaires chez les principaux commerçants fréquentés par les touristes étrangers. La Woori Bank assurera l'émission de cartes aux guichets de change de l'aéroport d'Incheon afin que les touristes étrangers puissent les utiliser dès leur arrivée et bénéficier de taux de change préférentiels pour leurs déplacements locaux. De plus, la banque prévoit d'offrir des services de change et de recharge via ses distributeurs automatiques de billets et ses guichets automatiques de change, pour un confort d'utilisation accru.
Hong Seong-gyu, responsable de la stratégie de gestion chez NOL Universe, a déclaré : « Ce service de carte prépayée nous offre l'opportunité d'aller au-delà des opérations de plateforme destinées aux étrangers pour proposer un service qui englobe l'ensemble du processus de voyage », ajoutant : « En créant un écosystème lié à la plateforme NOL World, nous offrirons un confort pratique tout au long du séjour des étrangers visitant la Corée. »
Les trois sociétés prévoient de renforcer continuellement la compétitivité des services financiers spécialisés pour les étrangers, y compris en proposant à l'avenir des fonctions financières supplémentaires.
Récemment, les secteurs du tourisme national et des technologies financières ont connu une augmentation des tentatives visant à améliorer simultanément la commodité du tourisme et l'accessibilité financière, sous l'impulsion de l'expansion des cartes prépayées et des services de paiement simples destinés aux touristes étrangers.
