야놀자가 글로벌 금융기관 씨티와 함께 여행 산업의 결제 시스템 혁신을 위한 협력을 강화한다고 밝혔다.
양사는 11일부터 13일까지 중국 광둥성 선전의 Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen에서 열린 Citi Asia Digital Leaders Summit 2026에서 글로벌 협력 확대 계획을 공식 발표했다.
이번 협력은 2021년부터 이어져 온 야놀자와 한국씨티은행 간 파트너십을 씨티의 글로벌 네트워크 전반으로 확대하는 것이 핵심이다. 이를 통해 양사는 여행 산업에 최적화된 차세대 통합 결제 및 정산 인프라 구축을 추진할 예정이다.
협력 프로젝트에서는 야놀자가 보유한 글로벌 여행 데이터와 솔루션 역량을 씨티의 국제 금융 네트워크와 결합해 다양한 금융·결제 서비스를 고도화할 계획이다. 주요 협력 분야는 글로벌 B2B 정산 효율성 및 투명성 강화, API 기반 자동 결제 및 정산 시스템 연동, AI 기반 금융 리스크 관리, 글로벌 자금 관리 및 결제 인프라 확대 등이다.
이를 통해 복잡한 해외 결제 과정을 자동화하고 운영 효율성을 높여 글로벌 여행 사업자들이 보다 안정적이고 비용 효율적인 환경에서 사업을 운영할 수 있도록 지원한다는 구상이다.
씨티의 군잔 칼라 커머셜뱅킹 총괄은 “기업들의 글로벌 진출이 다양한 지역으로 빠르게 확대되는 상황에서 각 시장에서도 일관된 운영 체계를 유지하는 것이 중요하다”며 “이번 협력은 글로벌 중견기업의 성장 전략을 지원하는 통합 결제 인프라의 역할을 보여주는 사례”라고 말했다.
이수진 야놀자 그룹 총괄대표는 “씨티와의 협력은 글로벌 여행 산업을 위한 차세대 결제 시스템 구축에 중요한 이정표가 될 것”이라며 “야놀자의 여행 데이터 플랫폼과 AI 기반 솔루션 역량에 씨티의 금융 인프라를 결합해 여행 산업의 혁신을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 서밋 기간 동안 이준영 야놀자 엔터프라이즈 솔루션 부문 대표는 ‘기술로 여행의 미래를 선도하다’를 주제로 발표를 진행하며 그룹의 글로벌 AI 솔루션 전략과 데이터 기반 여행 서비스 혁신 방향을 소개했다.
최근 여행·관광 산업에서는 글로벌 플랫폼 기업과 금융기관 간 협력을 통해 크로스보더 결제와 정산 시스템을 고도화하려는 움직임이 확대되고 있다.

Yanolja Expands Cooperation with CITI on Global Travel Payment Infrastructure
Yanolja announced that it is strengthening cooperation with the global financial institution CITI to innovate payment systems in the travel industry.
The two companies officially announced plans to expand global cooperation at the Citi Asia Digital Leaders Summit 2026, held from the 11th to the 13th at the Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China.
The core of this collaboration is to expand the partnership between Yanolja and CITI Bank Korea, which has been ongoing since 2021, across CITI's entire global network. Through this, the two companies plan to build a next-generation integrated payment and settlement infrastructure optimized for the travel industry.
In this collaborative project, the plan is to enhance various financial and payment services by combining Yanolja’s global travel data and solution capabilities with CITI’s international financial network. Key areas of cooperation include strengthening global B2B settlement efficiency and transparency, integrating API-based automated payment and settlement systems, AI-based financial risk management, and expanding global fund management and payment infrastructure.
The plan is to automate complex overseas payment processes and enhance operational efficiency, thereby supporting global travel operators to run their businesses in a more stable and cost-effective environment.
Gunjan Kala, Head of Commercial Banking at CITI, stated, “As companies rapidly expand their global presence into various regions, it is crucial to maintain a consistent operational system in each market,” adding, “This collaboration is an example demonstrating the role of integrated payment infrastructure in supporting the growth strategies of global mid-sized enterprises.”
Lee Soo-jin, CEO of Yanolja Group, stated, “The collaboration with CITI will be a significant milestone in building a next-generation payment system for the global travel industry,” adding, “We will continue to drive innovation in the travel industry by combining Yanolja’s travel data platform and AI-based solution capabilities with CITI’s financial infrastructure.”
Meanwhile, during the summit, Lee Jun-young, Head of Yanolja’s Enterprise Solutions Division, delivered a presentation under the theme "Leading the Future of Travel with Technology," introducing the group’s global AI solution strategy and the direction of data-driven travel service innovation.
Recently, there has been a growing trend in the travel and tourism industry to advance cross-border payment and settlement systems through cooperation between global platform companies and financial institutions.

イ・スジン・ヤノーザグループ総括代表は「CITIとの協力はグローバル旅行産業のための次世代決済システムの構築に重要なマイルストーンになるだろう」とし「ヤノルザの旅行データプラットフォームとAIベースのソリューション力量にCITIの金融インフラを結合して旅行産業の革新を続ける」と明らかにした。
一方、サミット期間中、イ・ジュニョン・ヤノルザ・エンタープライズ・ソリューション部門代表は「技術で旅行の未来をリードする」をテーマに発表を進め、グループのグローバルAIソリューション戦略とデータ駆動型旅行サービスの革新方向を紹介した。

Yanolja a annoncé qu'elle renforçait sa coopération avec l'institution financière mondiale CITI afin d'innover dans les systèmes de paiement du secteur du voyage.
Les deux entreprises ont officiellement annoncé leur intention d'étendre leur coopération mondiale lors du Citi Asia Digital Leaders Summit 2026, qui s'est tenu du 11 au 13 au Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen à Shenzhen, dans la province du Guangdong, en Chine.
L'objectif principal de cette collaboration est d'étendre le partenariat entre Yanolja et CITI Bank Korea, établi depuis 2021, à l'ensemble du réseau mondial de CITI. Grâce à cela, les deux entreprises prévoient de construire une infrastructure de paiement et de règlement intégrée de nouvelle génération, optimisée pour le secteur du voyage.
Ce projet collaboratif vise à optimiser divers services financiers et de paiement en combinant les données et solutions de voyage internationales de Yanolja avec le réseau financier international de CITI. Les principaux axes de coopération comprennent le renforcement de l'efficacité et de la transparence des règlements interentreprises (B2B) à l'échelle mondiale, l'intégration de systèmes de paiement et de règlement automatisés basés sur les API, la gestion des risques financiers par l'intelligence artificielle et l'expansion de l'infrastructure mondiale de gestion de fonds et de paiement.
L’objectif est d’automatiser les processus complexes de paiement à l’étranger et d’améliorer l’efficacité opérationnelle, permettant ainsi aux opérateurs de voyages internationaux de gérer leurs activités dans un environnement plus stable et plus rentable.
Gunjan Kala, responsable des services bancaires commerciaux chez CITI, a déclaré : « Alors que les entreprises étendent rapidement leur présence mondiale dans diverses régions, il est crucial de maintenir un système opérationnel cohérent sur chaque marché », ajoutant : « Cette collaboration illustre le rôle d'une infrastructure de paiement intégrée dans le soutien des stratégies de croissance des entreprises mondiales de taille moyenne. »
