(사)한국초기투자기관협회(KESIA, 전 협회장 이용관)는 지난 3월 13일 서울 강남구 팁스타운 S6에서 해산식을 개최하고 그간의 공식 활동을 종료했다고 밝혔다.
KESIA는 국내 초기투자 및 액셀러레이터 생태계의 성장을 지원하고 정책 제안과 네트워킹 활동을 수행하며 창업 생태계 발전에 기여해 왔다. 2024년 초기투자액셀러레이터협회(KAIA)와 통합 이후에도 일부 행정 업무를 위해 유지돼 왔으나, 이번 해산식을 통해 협회의 공식 활동이 마무리됐다.
해산식에는 협회 회원사 및 창업 생태계 유관기관 관계자들이 참석해 KESIA의 주요 활동을 돌아보고 초기 투자 생태계의 성장과 향후 발전 방향을 논의했다. 행사에서는 협회의 성과를 소개하는 발표와 ‘뜨거운 안녕과 끝없는 도전’을 주제로 한 패널토론이 진행됐다. 또한 협회를 이끌어 온 관계자들에게 감사패가 전달됐다.
(전)KESIA 이용관 협회장은 “초기 투자 생태계 발전을 위해 함께해 준 회원사와 유관기관에 감사드리며, KESIA의 경험과 성과가 앞으로 창업 생태계 발전의 기반이 되기를 기대한다”고 전했다.
행사는 약 2시간 동안 진행됐으며, 종료 후에는 참석자 간 네트워크를 위한 만찬이 이어졌다.
한편 최근 국내 초기투자 및 액셀러레이터 업계에서는 기관 간 통합과 협력 강화로 창업 생태계 지원 구조가 재편되는 추세가 이어지고 있다.

Korea Early-Stage Investment Institutions Association Officially Disbands After Concluding Startup Ecosystem Support Activities
The Korea Early-Stage Investment Institutions Association (KESIA, former Chairman Lee Yong-kwan) announced that it held a dissolution ceremony at Tipstown S6 in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on March 13 and concluded its official activities.
KESIA has contributed to the development of the startup ecosystem by supporting the growth of the domestic early-stage investment and accelerator ecosystem, making policy proposals, and engaging in networking activities. Although it was maintained for some administrative tasks following its merger with the Korea Association of Early-Stage Investment Accelerators (KAIA) in 2024, the association's official activities have concluded through this dissolution ceremony.
Member companies of the association and officials from organizations related to the startup ecosystem attended the dissolution ceremony to review KESIA's key activities and discuss the growth and future direction of the early-stage investment ecosystem. The event featured presentations introducing the association's achievements and a panel discussion themed "A Warm Farewell and Endless Challenges." Additionally, plaques of appreciation were presented to the officials who led the association.
Former KESIA President Lee Yong-kwan stated, “I would like to thank the member companies and related organizations for their support in developing the early-stage investment ecosystem, and I hope that KESIA’s experience and achievements will serve as a foundation for the future development of the startup ecosystem.”
The event lasted for about two hours, and after it concluded, a dinner followed for networking among the attendees.
Meanwhile, in the domestic early-stage investment and accelerator industries, a trend of restructuring the support structure for the startup ecosystem continues through integration and strengthened cooperation among institutions.

（社）韓国初期投資機関協会（ＫＥＳＩＡ、元協会長利用館）は３月１３日、ソウル江南区ティップスタウンＳ６で解散式を開催し、これまでの公式活動を終了したと明らかにした。
KESIAは、国内の初期投資とアクセラレータの生態系の成長を支援し、政策提案とネットワーキング活動を遂行し、創業生態系の発展に貢献してきた。 2024年初期投資アクセラレータ協会(KAIA)と統合後も一部行政業務のために維持されてきたが、今回の解散式を通じて協会の公式活動が終わった。
解散式には協会会員社及び創業生態系関連機関関係者が参加し、KESIAの主要活動を振り返り、初期投資生態系の成長と今後の発展方向を議論した。イベントでは協会の成果を紹介する発表と「熱いこんにちはと無限の挑戦」をテーマにしたパネル討論が行われた。また、協会を率いてきた関係者に感謝牌が伝えられた。

L'Association coréenne des institutions d'investissement en phase de démarrage (KESIA, ancien président Lee Yong-kwan) a annoncé avoir tenu une cérémonie de dissolution à Tipstown S6 dans le quartier de Gangnam-gu à Séoul le 13 mars et avoir mis fin à ses activités officielles.
KESIA a contribué au développement de l'écosystème des startups en soutenant la croissance de l'écosystème coréen d'investissement et d'accélération en phase d'amorçage, en formulant des propositions politiques et en participant à des activités de réseautage. Bien qu'elle ait continué à assurer certaines tâches administratives suite à sa fusion avec la Korea Association of Early-Stage Investment Accelerators (KAIA) en 2024, les activités officielles de l'association ont pris fin avec cette cérémonie de dissolution.
Les entreprises membres de l'association et des représentants d'organisations liées à l'écosystème des startups ont assisté à la cérémonie de dissolution afin de passer en revue les principales activités de KESIA et d'échanger sur la croissance et les perspectives d'avenir de l'écosystème d'investissement en phase d'amorçage. L'événement a duré environ deux heures et, à son terme, un dîner a été organisé pour permettre aux participants d'échanger et de nouer des contacts.
Parallèlement, dans les secteurs nationaux de l'investissement en phase d'amorçage et de l'accélération, une tendance à la restructuration de la structure de soutien à l'écosystème des startups se poursuit grâce à l'intégration et au renforcement de la coopération entre les institutions.
