AI Yangjae Hub’s ‘2021 AI SPRINT’ draws to a successful end

The ‘2021 AI SPRINT’ event, which was held as part of Try Everyting 2021, where promising start-ups in artificial intelligence in Korea gather together in one place and compete, ended successfully on the 15th.

‘2021 AI SPRINT’ is a program hosted jointly by Seoul Center for Creative Economy and Innovation and AI Yangjae Hub. Its main purpose is to discover startups with high growth potential in the field of artificial intelligence.

The 7 finalists were: ▲Kavi Lab (AI-based 3D orthopedic treatment planning system) ▲Lomin (AI character recognition solution) ▲Smart Diagnosis (non-contact vital measurement based on iris image analysis through artificial intelligence) ▲Bitnal Dental Studio (Deep learning-based automatic dental prosthesis production software) ▲Addd (Mobility-based O2O AI digital marketing platform) ▲Lion Rocket (Video content production using meta persona) ▲ klleon.io (automatic video dubbing solution)

The grand prize was won by ▲ Lion Rocket (CEO Seung-hwan Jeong) won the grand prize; ▲ Bitnal Dental Studio (CEO Hyuk-jun Park) took the second place; ▲ Lomin (CEO Ji-hong Park) won the third place.

Jong-Young Yoon, head of AI Yangjae Hub, said, “I am happy to be able to see many promising AI startups through this event. In the future, the AI Yangjae Hub will support more diverse programs that can serve as a starting point for AI startups for further growth.”

Center Director Yun-kyung Hwang of the Seoul Center for Creative Economy and Innovation said, “It is very meaningful that many excellent startups leading the artificial intelligence (AI) field have been selected. We will spare no effort to provide continuous support so that they can grow into Korea’s leading AI startups. From now on, the Seoul Creative Economy Innovation Center will also strive to revitalize AI startups and promote mutual growth.”
