제주창조경제혁신센터(센터장 이병선, 이하 제주센터)는 엠와이소셜컴퍼니(대표 김정태, 이하 MYSC)와 공동 운용하는 ‘초기 스타트업 육성 펀드’를 통해 소울엑스(대표 황영택)에 시드 라운드 투자를 단행했다.
소울엑스는 크리에이터에게 공간과 표현의 자유를 제공하기 위한 XR(확장현실) 프로덕션 솔루션 기업이다. 단기적으로는 비전문가도 쉽게 고품질 XR 콘텐츠를 제작할 수 있도록 하는 것을 목표로 하고 있으며, 중장기적으로는 크리에이터들이 콘텐츠를 자유롭게 창작할 수 있는 환경을 제공해 콘텐츠 창작 시장을 넓혀가고 있다.
제주센터는 향후 XR 시장의 확장 가능성과 소울엑스의 기술력을 고려했을 때 소울엑스의 성장가능성이 높을 것으로 기대하고 있다. 특히 소울엑스는 AI와 XR 기술력을 바탕으로 성장할 미디어 시장에서 콘텐츠 제작 비용과 기간을 절감하며, 공간 브랜딩을 기반으로 영상 콘텐츠 분야에서 새로운 기회와 혁신을 만들어갈 것으로 전망하고 있다.
한편 제주센터는 지난 4월 중소벤처기업부 모태펀드 1차 정시 출자사업 운용사 공모에 엠와이소셜컴퍼니(대표 김정태, 이하 MYSC)와 공동으로 참가해 비수도권 초기 스타트업에 투자하는 ‘지역 창업초기’ 분야에서 제주 최초의 한국모태펀드 운용사로 선정됐다. 제주센터와 MYSC가 업무집행조합원(GP)로 참여하며, 제주특별자치도, 한국모태펀드, 카카오, 한국사회가치연대기금, 제주대기술지주가 출자자(LP)로 참여해 35억원 규모로 조성했다.

SoulX Attracts Investment Through Early-Stage Startup Incubation Fund
Jeju Creative Economy Innovation Center (Director Lee Byeong-seon, hereinafter referred to as Jeju Center) has made a seed round investment in SoulX ( CEO Hwang Young-taek) through the 'Early Startup Incubation Fund' jointly operated with MY Social Company (CEO Kim Jeong-tae, hereinafter referred to as MYSC) .
SoulX is an XR (extended reality) production solutions company dedicated to providing creators with the freedom of space and expression. In the short term, it aims to enable even non-experts to easily create high-quality XR content. In the medium to long term, it aims to expand the content creation market by providing an environment where creators can freely create content.
Jeju Center anticipates high growth potential for SoulX, considering the future expansion potential of the XR market and SoulX's technological prowess. Specifically, SoulX anticipates reducing content production costs and time in the growing media market through its AI and XR technologies, and creating new opportunities and innovations in the video content field based on spatial branding.
Meanwhile, in April, the Jeju Center, along with MY Social Company (CEO Kim Jeong-tae, hereinafter MYSC), participated in the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' first round of regular investment for the Mother Fund, and was selected as the first Korean Mother Fund operator in Jeju in the "Regional Startup Early Stage" category, investing in startups outside the metropolitan area. Jeju Center and MYSC participated as general partners (GPs), while Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, Korea Mother Fund, Kakao, Korea Social Value Solidarity Fund, and Jeju University Technology Holdings participated as limited partners (LPs), raising KRW 3.5 billion.

済州創造経済革新センター（センター長イ・ビョンソン、以下済州センター）は、MWソーシャルカンパニー（代表キム・ジョンテ、以下MYSC）と共同運用する「初期スタートアップ育成ファンド」を通じてソウルエックス（代表ファン・ヨンテク）にシードラウンド投資を断行した。
ソウルエックスはクリエイターに空間と表現の自由を提供するためのXR（拡張現実）プロダクションソリューション企業だ。短期的には非専門家も簡単に高品質のXRコンテンツを制作できるようにすることを目指しており、中長期的にはクリエイターがコンテンツを自由に創作できる環境を提供してコンテンツ創作市場を広げている。
済州センターは今後、XR市場の拡張可能性とソウルエックスの技術力を考慮すると、ソウルエクスの成長可能性が高いと期待している。特にソウルエックスはAIとXR技術力をもとに成長するメディア市場でコンテンツ制作コストと期間を削減し、空間ブランディングを基に映像コンテンツ分野で新たな機会とイノベーションを作っていくと見込んでいる。
一方、済州センターは去る4月中小ベンチャー企業部モテファンド1次定時出資事業運用会社公募にエムワイソーシャルカンパニー(代表キム・ジョンテ、以下MYSC)と共同で参加して非首都圏初期スタートアップに投資する「地域創業初期」分野で済州初の韓国モテファンド。済州センターとMYSCが業務執行組合員(GP)として参加し、済州特別自治道、韓国モテファンド、カカオ、韓国社会価値連帯基金、済州大技術持株が出資者(LP)として参加して35億ウォン規模で造成した。

Le Centre d'innovation de l'économie créative de Jeju (directeur Lee Byeong-seon, ci-après dénommé Centre de Jeju) a réalisé un investissement de démarrage dans SoulX ( PDG Hwang Young-taek) par le biais du « Fonds d'incubation de jeunes entreprises » géré conjointement avec MY Social Company (PDG Kim Jeong-tae, ci-après dénommée MYSC) .
SoulX est une société spécialisée dans les solutions de production XR (réalité étendue) qui offre aux créateurs une grande liberté d'expression. À court terme, son objectif est de permettre même aux non-spécialistes de créer facilement du contenu XR de haute qualité. À moyen et long terme, elle vise à développer le marché de la création de contenu en proposant un environnement où les créateurs peuvent s'exprimer librement.
Jeju Center anticipe un fort potentiel de croissance pour SoulX, compte tenu du potentiel d'expansion futur du marché de la réalité étendue (XR) et de l'expertise technologique de SoulX. Plus précisément, SoulX prévoit de réduire les coûts et les délais de production de contenu sur le marché des médias en pleine croissance grâce à ses technologies d'intelligence artificielle (IA) et de XR, et de créer de nouvelles opportunités et innovations dans le domaine du contenu vidéo grâce au branding spatial.
En avril, le Jeju Center, en collaboration avec MY Social Company (PDG : Kim Jeong-tae, ci-après MYSC), a participé au premier cycle d'investissement du Fonds Mère du ministère des PME et des Startups. MYSC a été sélectionné comme premier opérateur coréen de Fonds Mère à Jeju, dans la catégorie « Jeunes entreprises régionales en phase d'amorçage », investissant dans des startups situées hors de la zone métropolitaine. Le Jeju Center et MYSC ont participé en tant qu'associés commandités, tandis que la Province autonome spéciale de Jeju, le Fonds Mère coréen, Kakao, le Fonds coréen de solidarité pour les valeurs sociales et Jeju University Technology Holdings ont participé en tant qu'associés commanditaires, levant ainsi 3,5 milliards de wons coréens.
