허경수 코스모그룹 회장은 지난 7일(이하 미국 현지시각) “세계 최고의 경쟁력을 가진 웨어러블 로봇사업의 본격화를 바탕으로 2025년을 뉴 코스모그룹의 원년으로 만들겠다”고 밝혔다.
허 회장은 이날 미국 라스베이거스에서 개막한 ‘세계 최대 전자제품박람회(CES) 2025’에 참석, 이같이 말했다.
허 회장은 “지금까지 우리 코스모그룹이 2차전지 소재 사업을 강화하며 초격차 경쟁력을 확보했다면, 앞으로의 미래 먹거리로 로봇사업을 선정했다”고 했다.
그는 “재활치료를 위한 웨어러블로봇을 비롯해 보행보조로봇, 산업용 웨어러블수트 등을 개발해 글로벌 웨어러블로봇 선도기업으로 발돋움하고 이미 미국 FDA, 유럽연합 CE, 중국의 CFDA 등 세계 최고 인증까지 획득한 ‘코스모로보틱스’가 우리 로봇사업 발전의 견인차가 될 것”이라고 덧붙였다.
코스모로보틱스(대표이사 오주영, 허경수, 강곤)는 이번 CES에서 웨어러블 로봇 EA2 PRO(성인용), BAM-T(유소년용)과 신제품 웨어러블 로봇 BAM-K(소아용), EA Personal(홈유즈용), COSuit(보행보조), 그리고 산업용 웨어러블수트 COSaver를 포함하여 총 6종을 선보이며 혁신적인 제품과 기술을 과시했다는 평가가 나오고 있다.
한편 코스모로보틱스는 코스모화학과 코스모신소재 등 2개 상장사를 보유한 코스모그룹의 계열사다.

Cosmo Robotics (CEOs Jooyoung Oh, Kyungsoo Heo, and Gon Kang) is receiving positive reviews for showcasing its innovative products and technologies at this year's CES, showcasing a total of six products, including the wearable robots EA2 PRO (for adults), BAM-T (for children), new wearable robots BAM-K (for children), EA Personal (for home use), COSuit (walking assistance), and the industrial wearable suit COSaver.
Meanwhile, Cosmo Robotics is an affiliate of Cosmo Group, which owns two listed companies, Cosmo Chemical and Cosmo New Materials.

ホ会長はこの日、米国ラスベガスで開幕した「世界最大の電子製品博覧会（CES）2025」に参加し、このように述べた。
ホ会長は「今まで韓国コスモグループが二次電池素材事業を強化し、超格差競争力を確保したならば、今後の未来グルメとしてロボット事業を選定した」と話した。
彼は「リハビリ治療のためのウェアラブルロボットをはじめ、歩行補助ロボット、産業用ウェアラブルスーツなどを開発し、グローバルウェアラブルロボットの先導企業として発展し、すでに米国FDA、欧州連合CE、中国のCFDAなど世界最高認証まで獲得した「コスモロボット」が私たちのロボット事業発展の見通しだ。
コスモロボティクス（代表取締役オ・ジュヨン、ホ・ギョンス、カンゴン）は今回のCESでウェアラブルロボットEA2 PRO（大人用）、BAM-T（幼少年用）と新製品ウェアラブルロボットBAM-K（小児用）、EA Personal（ホームユーズ用）、COSuit（歩行保6種を披露して革新的な製品と技術を誇示したという評価が出ている。
一方、コスモロボティクスはコスモ化学とコスモシン素材など2つの上場会社を保有したコスモグループの系列会社だ。
