에스지랩은 한양대 ERICA 캠퍼스가 위치한 안산강소특구에서 AI 기술을 결합한 골프 훈련 솔루션으로 주목받고 있는 기업이다.
‘지그립(G-grip)’은 에스지랩의 독자적인 기술로 개발된 지능형 골프 클럽으로, 나노소재 기반 유연 압력 센서와 듀얼 모션 센서를 활용하여 골퍼의 스윙 데이터를 정밀하게 측정하고 분석한다. 이를 통해 비거리 향상, 정확도 개선, 스윙 일관성 강화 등 골퍼의 실력 향상을 지원한다. 이번 CES에서는 생성형 AI 기반 실시간 코칭 기능이 새롭게 공개됐다.
에스지랩 관계자는 “지그립(G-grip)은 일본, 유럽을 포함한 글로벌 시장에서 큰 관심을 받고 있으며, 현재 글로벌 클럽 제조사들과의 협력을 통해 새로운 가능성을 모색 중”이라며, “미국 시장을 포함한 글로벌 시장에서 기술력을 확대해 나갈 계획”이라고 전했다.
