(주)킴랩과 꽃 정기구독 서비스 기업 (주)플립이 청각장애인을 위한 전문 플로리스트 양성 및 일자리 창출을 목표로 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 이번 협약에 따라 청각장애인 대상 맞춤형 직업 교육과 심리 지원 프로그램이 포함된 프로그램이 올해 하반기부터 시범 운영될 예정이다.
이번 협약의 주요 프로그램은 청각장애인의 특성에 맞춘 교육 과정으로 구성되며, 꽃과 식물의 기초 이론, 플라워 디자인 실습, 매장 운영 실무 등 플로리스트로서 필요한 전문 지식과 기술을 학습할 수 있도록 설계된다. 또한 (주)킴랩의 부설 기관인 이화삼성심리센터의 전문성을 활용해 스트레스 관리, 번아웃 예방 등 심리적 지원도 병행될 예정이다.
교육 과정을 마친 수료생들은 (주)플립의 꽃 정기구독 브랜드인 ‘플립플라워’의 정규직 플로리스트로 채용될 기회를 제공받게 된다. (주)플립은 향후 3년간 청각장애인 플로리스트를 단계적으로 채용할 계획이며, 이들의 직무 수행을 돕기 위해 전용 작업장 구축, 수어 통역사 배치, 시각적 업무 지시 시스템 도입 등 다양한 지원책을 마련할 예정이다.

Kimlab Signs Business Agreement with Flip
Kimlab Inc. and flower subscription service company Flip Inc. announced that they signed a business agreement (MOU) with the goal of fostering professional florists and creating jobs for the hearing impaired.
