중소벤처기업부(장관 오영주, 이하 중기부)는 인공지능(AI) 분야 청년인재를 양성하는 ‘2025년 스타트업 AI기술인력 양성사업(이어드림스쿨)’ 교육생을 지난 23일부터 모집한다고 밝혔다.
‘스타트업 AI기술인력 양성사업(이어드림스쿨)’은 인공지능 분야 스타트업의 인력난 해소를 위해 미취업 청년을 AI 분야 실무인력으로 양성하여 취․창업을 연계 지원하는 사업이다.
동 사업은 2021년부터 시작했으며, 그간 AI 분야 교육과정 운영을 비롯하여 국내외 AI 경진대회 참여기회 제공, 스타트업 현업 프로젝트 수행 및 인턴십 프로그램 운영 등을 지원해 왔다.
올해는 청년 교육생의 AI 실무역량을 제고하고, 스타트업으로 취업 연계 강화를 위해 교육 커리큘럼 및 취업 연계 방식을 대폭 개선할 예정이다.
먼저 국내 최고 AI 전문대학과 협업하여 교육 커리큘럼을 고도화한다.
KAIST, GIST 등 AI전문대학이 운영하는 심화교육과정을 벤치마킹하고, AI 전문대학 교수를 강사진으로 구성하여 최신 기술 트렌드를 반영한 교육과정을 제공할 계획이다.
특히 초격차 스타트업 및 관련 협단체 회원사 등을 대상으로 채용 수요를 사전에 발굴하여 교육생과 매칭하고, 기업 맞춤형 교육(3개월 이내) 및 인턴십(2개월 이내) 제공, 정규직 채용까지 연계하는 ‘채용 사전 매칭형 트랙’을 시범 운영(50명 내외)하여 스타트업이 원하는 맞춤형 인재를 양성할 계획이다.
아울러 교육생의 학업 성취도와 만족도 제고를 위해 성적 우수자 및 조기 취업자 등 우수 교육생을 대상으로 해외 연수 기회를 제공하고, 식대·교통비 등도 일부 지원할 예정이다.
올해 선발된 교육생(5기)은 3월 중순부터 약 9개월간(주5회, 일8시간) 교육에 참여하게 된다. 교육장은 서울 구로(G타워)에 위치하고 있으며, 또한 비수도권 거주 청년의 교육 참여 확대를 위해 비대면 과정도 함께 운영한다.
교육생은 총 200명을 선발한다. 구로 교육장에서 진행되는 대면 과정은 50명, 대면 과정과 동일한 커리큘럼으로 실시간 온라인 방식으로 진행되는 비대면 과정은 150명이다. 학력·전공과 관계 없이 39세 이하 미취업 청년이라면 누구나 지원할 수 있다.
향후 신청 접수는 2월 23일(일)까지 마감하고, 인공지능 분야 적성검사 및 면접평가를 거쳐 3월 중순에 합격자를 발표할 예정이다.
중기부 조경원 창업정책관은 “인공지능 분야 기술이 빠르게 발전하고 있지만 스타트업은 인력 확보에 어려움을 겪고 있는 상황”이라며, “AI 분야 우수 청년 인재를 양성하여 스타트업의 인력난을 해소하고 청년 취업률을 제고할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.

In particular, we plan to conduct a pilot operation (within 50 people) of a 'recruitment pre-matching track' that preemptively discovers recruitment needs for ultra-small startups and member companies of related associations, matches them with trainees, provides customized training (within 3 months) and internships (within 2 months), and links them to full-time employment, thereby fostering customized talent that startups want.
In addition, in order to improve the academic achievement and satisfaction of students, overseas training opportunities will be provided to excellent students, such as those with excellent grades and those who have found early employment, and some of the expenses for meals and transportation will also be supported.
The trainees selected this year (5th group) will participate in training for approximately 9 months (5 times a week, 8 hours a day) starting in mid-March. The training center is located in Guro, Seoul (G Tower), and non-face-to-face courses will also be operated to expand educational participation among youth living outside the metropolitan area.
A total of 200 trainees will be selected. The face-to-face course conducted at the Guro Education Center will be for 50 students, and the non-face-to-face course conducted in real-time online format with the same curriculum as the face-to-face course will be for 150 students. Any unemployed youth under the age of 39 can apply, regardless of their academic background or major.

同事業は2021年から始まり、これまでAI分野の教育課程運営をはじめ、国内外のAI競進大会参加機会の提供、スタートアップ現業プロジェクトの遂行、インターンシッププログラムの運営などを支援してきた。
今年は青年教育生のAI実務力量を高め、スタートアップで就職連携強化のため教育カリキュラム及び就職連携方式を大幅に改善する予定だ。
まず、国内最高AI専門大学と協業して教育カリキュラムを高度化する。
KAIST、GISTなどAI専門大学が運営する深化教育課程をベンチマークし、AI専門大学教授を講師陣で構成し、最新の技術トレンドを反映した教育課程を提供する計画だ。
