뉴패러다임인베스트먼트(이하 뉴패러다임)가 ‘2025년 상반기 아기유니콘 성장 프로그램’을 통해 최대 50억원의 자금지원을 받을 수 있는 혁신 스타트업을 모집한다고 3일 밝혔다.
올해로 5회를 맞이한 ‘아기유니콘 성장 프로그램’은 초기 창업기업에 특화된 뉴패러다임의 대표적인 액셀러레이팅 프로그램이다. 성장 가능성이 뛰어난 스타트업을 선제적으로 발굴하여 자금 지원과 맞춤형 멘토링을 제공하며, 국내외 시장에서 두각을 나타낼 수 있도록 도약의 발판을 마련해왔다.
뉴패러다임은 지난해 14개 스타트업에 신규와 후속투자 60억원을 투자했으며, 약 700억원 후속투자 유치에도 성공한 바 있다. 또한 중기부 팁스(TIPS)에 추천한 8개사가 100% 선정되는 성과를 거두었고, 누적 팁스 선정사는 34개사로 늘어났으며, 총 190억원의 정부 지원금을 유치했다.
이번 아기유니콘 성장 프로그램을 통해 선정된 스타트업은 최대 50억원 이상의 자금 지원을 받을 수 있다. 주요 지원 내용은 ▲초기투자 최대 5억원 ▲기술 고도화를 위한 팁스(TIPS) 추천 5억~7억원 ▲딥테크 팁스 추천 15억원 지원 등이다. 또한, 성장 지표에 따라 ▲후속투자 최대 10억원 ▲연계투자 20억원 등 연속적인 자금 지원이 이루어질 예정이다. 뉴패러다임은 투자뿐만 아니라 스타트업의 기술 개발과 시장 확장을 위한 전략적 지원도 제공한다.
모집 대상은 혁신적인 사업 아이템으로 PoC(Proof of Concept)가 검증된 사업 지표를 보유한 업력 3년 이내 초기 스타트업이다. 지원 시점을 기준으로 사업 유효기간이 3개월 이상 남아 있어야 한다.
모집 분야는 ICT(AI, B2B, SaaS, 디지털 트랜스포메이션 등), 커머스(전문시장), 실버테크, 스포츠 테크 등 4차 산업 분야와 디지털 헬스케어, 스마트로봇, 생성형 AI 등 딥테크 분야로, 다양한 분야에서 혁신적인 스타트업을 지원할 예정이다.

The 'Baby Unicorn Growth Program', now in its 5th year, is a representative accelerating program of New Paradigm specializing in early-stage startups. It proactively discovers startups with high growth potential, provides financial support and customized mentoring, and has laid the foundation for them to stand out in the domestic and international markets.
Last year, New Paradigm invested 6 billion won in new and follow-up investments in 14 startups, and succeeded in attracting about 70 billion won in follow-up investments. Startups selected through this Baby Unicorn Growth Program can receive up to 5 billion won in financial support. The main support contents are ▲up to 500 million won in initial investment ▲500-700 million won in TIPS recommendations for technological advancement ▲1.5 billion won in deep-tech TIPS recommendations, etc. In addition, depending on the growth indicators, ▲up to 1 billion won in follow-up investment ▲2 billion won in linked investment, etc., will be provided continuously. In addition to investment, New Paradigm also provides strategic support for startups’ technological development and market expansion.
The target of the recruitment is an early-stage startup with less than 3 years of business experience that has an innovative business item and a business indicator that has been verified by PoC (Proof of Concept). The business must have at least 3 months remaining as of the time of application.
The recruitment fields are ICT (AI, B2B, SaaS, digital transformation, etc.), commerce (specialized market), silver tech, sports tech, etc., 4th industrial revolution fields, and deep tech fields such as digital healthcare, smart robots, and generative AI, and we plan to support innovative startups in various fields.
