가비아는 4일, 고용노동부 주관 ‘K-디지털 트레이닝’의 선도기업으로서 취업 준비생을 위한 ‘g클라우드 기반의 그룹웨어 개발자 양성과정 1기’를 시작했다고 밝혔다.
가비아는 지난 3일, 과천 지식정보타운에 위치한 사옥에서 훈련생들과 함께 오리엔테이션(OT)을 진행하며 교육 과정의 시작을 알렸다. OT에서는 과정 소개, 훈련 목표 및 커리큘럼 안내와 함께 참가자들이 교육 기간 동안 활용할 가비아의 클라우드 서비스 ‘g클라우드(IaaS)’와 ‘하이웍스(SaaS)’에 대한 설명이 진행됐다.
‘K-디지털 트레이닝’은 고용노동부가 주관하는 직업훈련 사업으로, 민간 혁신훈련기관과 선도기업, 우수 대학 등이 협력하여 인공지능(AI), 빅데이터 등 첨단 기술을 실전에서 활용할 수 있는 교육을 제공한다. 선도기업은 훈련 과정 설계와 운영을 주도하며, 실무 프로젝트 중심의 교육을 통해 참가자들이 실제 기업 현장에서 적용 가능한 기술을 습득할 수 있도록 돕는다.
가비아의 이번 양성과정은 6개월간 총 960시간의 집중 교육으로 구성되며, 훈련생들은 기업 환경과 유사한 조건에서 웹 서비스를 설계하고, 가비아 클라우드에 웹 애플리케이션을 배포하는 실무 경험을 쌓을 예정이다.
가비아 관계자는 “이번 OT를 시작으로 ‘그룹웨어 개발자 양성과정’이 본격적으로 시작됐다”며 “가비아는 훈련생들이 경쟁력 있는 디지털 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
