액셀러레이터 씨엔티테크(대표 전화성, CNTTECH)가 2024년에도 농식품 스타트업 분야에서 ‘큰손’ 행보를 이어갔다.
씨엔티테크는 지난 한 해 동안 정부부처 및 지자체와 협력해 농식품 스타트업 20여 곳에 투자했다고 밝혔다. 다년간 운영 중인 한국농업기술진흥원 ‘농식품 액셀러레이터 육성지원’, 서울시 ‘청년쿡 푸드테크센터’사업과 같은 정부부처 및 지자체 창업지원 사업을 통해서다.
투자는 바이오헬스케어‧푸드테크‧에크테크‧펫테크 등의 분야로 나눠 우수 기업을 선발해 이뤄졌다.

이로써 씨엔티테크는 농식품 분야 외에도 2024년 한 해만 총 117개 스타트업에 215억의 투자금을 집행했다고 밝혔다. 누적 485건으로 5년 연속 업계 최다 투자기록 등의 쾌거를 이루어 냈다. 이중 초기 창업기업의 비율은 약 80%에 이를 정도로 생태계 활성화를 위해 적극 앞장서고 있다.
아울러 투자와 동시에 총 79개사에 팁스(TIPS)프로그램을 매칭하며 업계에서 연간 최다 기록을 세웠다. 누적으로 계산하면 총 233곳의 팁스 선정을 이뤄냈다. 팁스는 중소벤처기업부가 주관하는 민간투자 주도형 기술창업지원 프로그램이다. 선정기업은 최대 7억 원의 정부지원금을 추가적으로 받을 수 있다. 민간투자기관에서 창업기업에 투자한 후에 직접 창업기업을 추천해야 선정이 가능한 구조라서 액셀러레이터간의 경쟁력을 확인할 수 있는 지표로 꼽힌다.
한편 씨엔티테크는 올해도 농식품 분야를 망라한 스타트업계에 적극적인 투자로 산업 견인에 앞장선다는 계획이다.

Accelerator CNTTECH (CEO Jeon Hwa-seong, CNTTECH) continued its ‘big hand’ in the agricultural and food startup sector in 2024.
CNT Tech announced that it invested in around 20 agricultural and food startups in cooperation with government ministries and local governments over the past year. With this, CNT Tech announced that it has invested a total of 21.5 billion won in 117 startups in 2024 alone, in addition to the agricultural and food sectors. It has achieved the feat of setting the industry record for the largest investment for five consecutive years with a total of 485 cases. Among them, the proportion of early-stage startups is about 80%, showing that it is actively leading the way in activating the ecosystem.
In addition, by matching a total of 79 companies with the TIPS program at the same time as the investment, it set the industry record for the most in a year. Cumulatively, a total of 233 TIPS were selected. TIPS is a private investment-led technology startup support program hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Selected companies can receive up to 700 million won in additional government subsidies. Since it is a structure in which private investment organizations must directly recommend startups after investing in them, it is considered an indicator of competitiveness among accelerators.
Meanwhile, CNT Tech plans to take the lead in driving the industry this year by actively investing in startups covering the agricultural and food sectors.

これによりＣＥＮＴＩＴＥＣＫは農食品分野の他にも２０２４年１年だけで計１１７社のスタートアップに２１５億の投資金を執行したと明らかにした。累積485件で5年連続業界最多投資記録などの快挙を成し遂げた。このうち、初期創業企業の割合は約80％に達するほど生態系活性化のために積極的に先頭に立っている。
また、投資と同時に計79社にティップス(TIPS)プログラムをマッチングし、業界で年間最多記録を立てた。累積計算すると合計233カ所のティップス選定を成し遂げた。ティップスは中小ベンチャー企業部が主管する民間投資主導型技術創業支援プログラムだ。選定企業は最大7億ウォンの政府支援金を追加的に受けることができる。民間投資機関で創業企業に投資した後、直接創業企業を推薦しなければ選定が可能な構造なので、アクセラレータ間の競争力を確認できる指標に挙げられる。
一方、シエンティテックは今年も農食品分野を網羅したスタート業界に積極的な投資で産業牽引に先頭に立つという計画だ。
