KS인더스트리는 26일 임시주주총회를 열고 Katta Reddy와 Karim Arabi를 신규 이사로 선임했다고 밝혔다. 두 인사는 반도체와 AI 데이터센터 분야에서 풍부한 경험과 전문성을 갖췄으며, 향후 KS인더스트리의 기술력과 글로벌 시장 입지를 강화에 기여할 것으로 전망된다.
Katta Reddy는 미국 플로리다 공과대학교(Florida Institute of Technology)에서 학사 및 석사 학위를 취득한 뒤 반도체 및 데이터센터 업계에서 경력을 쌓았으며, NEC Electronics Inc.에서 전략적 비즈니스 개발과 운영을 이끈 바 있다. Marvell Semiconductor에서는 부사장으로서 기술 혁신과 제품 개발을 주도했고, 현재는 AI 데이터센터를 운영하는 나스닥 상장사 Sify Technologies Limited에서 부사장(EVP)으로 재직 중이다. KS인더스트리는 Katta Reddy 이사가 기술적 비전과 전략적 방향성을 발전시키는 데에 힘을 실을 것으로 보고 있다.
Karim Arabi는 캐나다에서 석사 및 박사 학위를 취득한 뒤 미국 퀄컴(Qualcomm) 본사 연구소장으로 재직하며 첨단 기술 개발을 이끈 인물로, 현재는 Atlazo Inc.의 CEO로서 혁신적인 솔루션을 선보이고 있다. KS인더스트리는 그가 연구·개발 부문에서 새로운 기회를 창출하고, 글로벌 시장 경쟁력을 높이는 데에 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 보고 있다.
KS인더스트리 관계자는 “3월 4일 유상증자에 참여하는 이엘엠시스템과 함께 Katta Reddy, Karim Arabi 이사의 합류로 AI 데이터센터와 AI칩 관련 사업을 본격 확대하게 됐다”며 “혁신적이며 신뢰할 수 있는 솔루션을 고객에게 제공할 것”이라고 말했다.

Karim Arabi earned his master’s and doctorate degrees in Canada, and served as the head of research at Qualcomm’s headquarters in the U.S., where he led the development of cutting-edge technologies. He is currently the CEO of Atlazo Inc., where he presents innovative solutions. KS Industry expects him to play a key role in creating new opportunities in the R&D sector and enhancing global market competitiveness.
A KS Industry official said, “With the addition of Directors Katta Reddy and Karim Arabi along with ELM Systems, which participated in the paid-in capital increase on March 4, we have been able to fully expand our business related to AI data centers and AI chips,” adding, “We will provide innovative and reliable solutions to customers.”
