전문의약품 생산 기업 제론셀베인은 강원도 원주시에 PDRN 생산능력(CAPA) 증설을 위해 200억원 규모 투자협약을 체결했다고 11일 밝혔다.
강원자치도청 신관 소회의실에서 열린 이번 협약은 강원도 원주시에 공장 부지면적 1만3200㎡(약 3900평) 규모의 부지 매입 협약이다.
제론셀베인은 충청남도에 위치한 아산 공장과 천안 공장에 이어 강원도 원주 공장 부지 매입 계약을 체결해 폴리데옥시리보뉴클레오티드(PDRN) 원료 생산과 PDRN 기반 통증·염증 치료제인 전문의약품 ‘셀베인주’ 생산을 확대할 계획이다.
제론셀베인은 추후 사업의 확장에 따라 원주 공장을 다양한 제품을 생산할 수 있는 공장으로 활용할 예정이다. 미래 성장 기반에 중점을 두고 연구개발(R&D)투자를 통해 제품 개발을 이어나갈 계획이라고 회사측은 설명했다.
김덕규 제론셀베인 대표는 “바이오 헬스산업 중심지인 강원도 원주의 장점과 우수한 기술을 결합해 연구개발 거점을 도입할 것”이라며 “이번 투자를 통해 최첨단 바이오 시설을 구축하고 지역 내 도입 집중과 통합 생태계 활성화에 기여하는 것은 물론 강원도와 글로벌 바이오 성장에 힘쓸 것”이라고 전했다.
이어 “이번 원주 공장 부지 매입을 통해 PDRN 생산 능력 확대와 지속성장 추가 동력을 확보했다”며 “제론셀베인의 특허기술인 프리즘테크놀로지(Prism-T)를 활용해 제품 개발 연구를 꾸준히 진행중으로 지속 성장에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 것으로 기대된다”고 덧붙였다.
김진태 강원특별자치도지사는 “민선 8기 출범 이후 43개의 기업을 유치했으며 그중 절반이 넘는 26개 기업이 원주를 선택해 원주를 선택한 것이 잘한 결정이라고 생각할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
한편 강원도 원주시 부론면 노림리 일원에 위치하게 될 생산 시설은 원주부론산업단지로 수도권과 근접하고 부론IC가 개통될 예정으로 인근 도시의 인프라 연계가 활용될 것으로 보인다.

Jeroncellbein, Wonju-si, Gangwon-do, 20 billion won investment agreement
Jeroncellvein , a specialized pharmaceutical manufacturing company, announced on the 11th that it signed an investment agreement worth 20 billion won to increase PDRN production capacity (CAPA) in Wonju-si, Gangwon-do.
This agreement, held in a small conference room in the new building of the Gangwon Provincial Government Office, is an agreement to purchase a factory site measuring 13,200㎡ (approximately 3,900 pyeong) in Wonju-si, Gangwon-do.
Following the Asan and Cheonan factories located in South Chungcheong Province, Jeroncellbein signed a contract to purchase the site of the Wonju factory in Gangwon Province, and plans to expand production of polydeoxyribonucleotide (PDRN) raw material and 'Selbane Injection', a prescription drug for pain and inflammation treatment based on PDRN.
As the company expands its business in the future, Jeroncellbein plans to use the Wonju plant as a factory that can produce a variety of products. The company explained that it plans to continue developing products through R&D investments with a focus on future growth foundations.
Kim Deok-gyu, CEO of Jeroncellbein, said, “We will introduce a research and development base by combining the strengths and excellent technologies of Wonju, Gangwon-do, the center of the bio health industry.” He added, “Through this investment, we will not only build a state-of-the-art bio facility and contribute to the concentration of introductions and activation of an integrated ecosystem within the region, but also work towards the growth of Gangwon-do and global bio.”
He continued, “Through the purchase of the Wonju plant site, we have secured additional momentum for PDRN production capacity expansion and sustainable growth,” adding, “We are steadily conducting product development research utilizing Prism-T, a patented technology of Geroncellbein, and we expect this to have a positive impact on sustainable growth.”
Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Governor Kim Jin-tae said, “Since the launch of the 8th local government, we have attracted 43 companies, and more than half of them, 26 companies, chose Wonju. I will actively support them so that they can think that choosing Wonju was a good decision.”
Meanwhile, the production facility to be located in Norim-ri, Buron-myeon, Wonju-si, Gangwon-do is expected to utilize the infrastructure of nearby cities as it is close to the metropolitan area in the Wonju-Buron Industrial Complex and the Buron IC is scheduled to open soon.

ジェロン・セルベインは今後の事業の拡大に伴い、原州工場を様々な製品を生産できる工場として活用する予定だ。将来の成長基盤に重点を置いて研究開発（Ｒ＆Ｄ）投資を通じて製品開発を続けていく計画だと会社側は説明した。
キム・ドクギュジェロン・セルベイン代表は「バイオヘルス産業中心地である江原道原州の長所と優秀な技術を組み合わせて研究開発拠点を導入する」とし「今回の投資を通じて最先端のバイオ施設を構築し、地域内の導入集中と統合生態系の活性化に寄与するのはもちろん、江原道とグローバルバイオ成長に努めるだろう」と述べた。
続いて「今回の原州工場敷地買取を通じてPDRN生産能力拡大と持続成長追加動力を確保した」とし「ジェロン・セルベーンの特許技術であるプリズムテクノロジー(Prism-T)を活用して製品開発研究を着実に進行中で持続成長に肯定的な影響を与えると期待される」と付け加えた。
キム・ジンテ江原特別自治道知事は「民選8期発足以来43社を誘致しており、そのうち半分を超える26企業が原州を選択して原州を選択したことがうまくいった決定だと考えられるように積極的に支援する」と話した。
一方、江原道原州市ブロン面ノリムリ一元に位置する生産施設は、原州ブロン産業団地で首都圏に近接し、ブロンICが開通する予定で、近隣都市のインフラ連携が活用されるものと見られる。

同时，位于江原道原州市伏论面老林里生产工厂预计将利用附近城市的基础设施，因为它靠近原州-伏论工业园区的首都圈，而且伏论 IC 预计很快开放。

Le gouverneur de la province autonome spéciale de Gangwon, Kim Jin-tae, a déclaré : « Depuis le lancement du 8e gouvernement local, nous avons attiré 43 entreprises, et plus de la moitié d'entre elles, soit 26 entreprises, ont choisi Wonju. Je les soutiendrai activement pour qu'elles puissent penser que le choix de Wonju était une bonne décision. »
Dans le même temps, l'usine de production qui sera située à Norim-ri, Buron-myeon, Wonju-si, Gangwon-do devrait utiliser l'infrastructure des villes voisines car elle est proche de la zone métropolitaine du complexe industriel Wonju-Buron et le Buron IC devrait ouvrir prochainement.
