국내 IT 스타트업 팀스파르타가 아크앤파트너스와 투자 계약을 체결할 예정이라고 11일 밝혔다. 이번 투자 계약을 통해 아크앤파트너스는 기존 대주주인 이범규 대표에 이은 2대 주주로 자리매김하게 된다. 이범규 대표는 1대 주주이자 CEO로서 회사 경영을 지속적으로 이끌어갈 예정이다.
아크앤파트너스는 국내에서 드물게 ‘그로쓰 바이아웃(Growth Buyout)’ 전략을 적극적으로 구사하는 운용사로, 단순한 자본 투자에 그치지 않고 기존 경영진과 협력하여 성장 전략을 수립하고 실행하는 밸류크리에이션 활동을 전개하고 있다. 이를 통해 기업 가치를 지속적으로 증대시키는 전략을 추구하며, ‘리멤버’, ‘숨고’, ‘카시나’ 등 국내 유망 기업에 대규모 투자를 집행하여 폭발적인 성장을 이끌어낸 이력을 보유하고 있다.
팀스파르타는 개발자 양성 국비지원사업 ‘내일배움캠프(KDT)’를 시작으로, 온라인 코딩 교육 서비스 ‘스파르타코딩클럽’, B2B 기업 교육, 개발자 커리어 향상을 위한 ‘항해99’ 등 다양한 IT 인재 교육 프로그램을 운영하는 기업이다. 특히 비전공자를 위한 지속적인 커리큘럼 혁신과 AI 도입을 통해 최근 가파른 성장을 이룬 바 있다. 2023년에는 매출 318억 원을 기록했으며, 2024년에는 매출 600억 원 이상을 달성할 것으로 예상된다.
이번 투자 유치를 통해 팀스파르타는 우수 인재 채용 확대와 함께 외주 사업체 인수ㆍ합병(M&A)을 적극적으로 추진할 계획이다. 이를 통해 IT 인재 양성뿐만 아니라, 팀스파르타의 교육 시스템을 통해 배출된 인재들을 기반으로 새로운 사업 기회를 창출하는 IT 연합체로 자리잡겠다는 비전을 가지고 있다.
