한국사회투자는 기업의 ESG 및 사회공헌 담당자를 위한 정기 네트워킹 행사인 ‘임팩트 살롱(IMPACT SALON)’을 신설하고, 오는 23일 첫 번째 세션을 개최한다고 4일 밝혔다.
임팩트 살롱은 기업의 사회공헌 및 ESG 전략을 실질적으로 발전시키고, 실무자 간 협업 기회를 확대하기 위해 기획된 행사이다. 첫 번째 세션을 시작으로, 이 행사는 2개월마다 한 번씩 정기적으로 열릴 예정이며, 각 회차별로 ESG/CSR 및 임팩트 비즈니스 관련 핵심 주제를 선정해 전문가 강연, 기업 사례 발표, 네트워킹 세션 등을 진행할 계획이다.
이번 첫 번째 세션은 ‘IMPACT AI: 한계를 넘어서는 AI 기반 사회공헌 전략’을 주제로 진행되며, AI 기술을 활용한 사회공헌 전략과 임팩트 창출 방안에 대해 집중 논의한다. 연세대학교 인공지능학과 유영재 교수, SKT AI접근성팀 김춘수 팀장, 카카오임팩트 홍진아 팀장, 바토너스 이지수 대표 등이 연사로 참여한다. 행사에는 기업의 사회공헌/CSR/ESG 담당자와 기업 산하 재단의 CSR 사업 담당자들이 참석할 예정이다. 참가 신청은 20일까지 한국사회투자 홈페이지를 통해 가능하다.
한국사회투자는 2012년 설립된 공익법인 임팩트투자사로, 사회문제를 해결하는 스타트업과 사회혁신조직에게 투자, 액셀러레이팅, ESG 컨설팅 등을 제공하고 있다. 지금까지 총 698억 원의 누적 임팩트투자금을 집행했으며, 주요 파트너로는 서울시, 국민건강보험공단, 하나금융그룹, 한국전력공사, 코이카, 현대오토에버 등이 있다.
한국사회투자 관계자는 “AI 기술이 사회공헌 분야에서 어떻게 활용될 수 있는지에 대한 논의가 필요한 시점”이라며, “임팩트 살롱을 통해 기업 담당자들이 최신 트렌드를 학습하고, 협업 기회를 발굴할 수 있기를 기대한다”고 말했다.

Korea Social Investment announced on the 4th that it will establish 'IMPACT SALON', a regular networking event for corporate ESG and social contribution managers, and hold the first session on the 23rd.
Impact Salon is an event designed to practically develop corporate social contribution and ESG strategies and expand opportunities for collaboration among practitioners. Speakers include Professor Yoo Young-jae of Yonsei University's Department of Artificial Intelligence, Team Leader Kim Chun-soo of SKT's AI Accessibility Team, Team Leader Hong Jin-ah of Kakao Impact, and CEO Lee Ji-soo of Batonus. Corporate social contribution/CSR/ESG managers and CSR business managers of corporate foundations are expected to attend the event. Applications for participation are available through the Korea Social Investment website until the 20th.
Korea Social Investment is a public interest impact investment company established in 2012, providing investment, acceleration, and ESG consulting to startups and social innovation organizations that solve social problems. It has executed a total of 69.8 billion won in cumulative impact investment funds so far, and its major partners include the Seoul Metropolitan Government, National Health Insurance Service, Hana Financial Group, Korea Electric Power Corporation, KOICA, and Hyundai Autoever.
A Korea Social Investment official said, “It is time to discuss how AI technology can be utilized in the field of social contribution,” and added, “We hope that through the Impact Salon, corporate executives will be able to learn about the latest trends and discover opportunities for collaboration.”
