친환경 농업 생산성 향상 장비 ‘조이코어(JOYCORE)’를 개발한 수처리 기술 기반 스타트업 ㈜딥벨로가 엔젤클럽인 AI엔젤클럽으로부터 시드 투자를 유치했다. 투자금은 비공개이다.
AI엔젤클럽 회장이자 AI엔젤파트너스 대표인 최성호 대표는 “딥벨로의 기술은 전 세계 농업 시장에서 생산성을 높이는 핵심 설비로 자리잡을 수 있을 것으로 기대된다”며 “장기간에 걸친 기술 개발과 검증, 명확한 시장 타겟과 확장 전략이 이번 투자 결정의 주요한 요인”이라고 밝혔다.
딥벨로는 자체 개발한 수분 멤브레인 투과율 향상 기술을 농업 분야에 적용해 친환경적이고 범용성이 높은 수처리 장비 ‘조이코어’를 선보였다. 해당 장비는 국내외 30여 종의 작물 시험에서 평균 30%의 생산성 향상 효과를 입증했으며 특히 미국 내 합법 대마 농장 4곳에서 실시한 시험에서는 최대 43%의 증산과 8%의 품질 개선 결과를 기록한 바 있다.
현지 농장 관계자들로부터 “놀라운 결과”라는 평가를 받으며 상업화 가능성을 입증했다. 딥벨로는 현재 골프장 및 스마트팜 등 다양한 초기 시장을 중심으로 본격적인 사업화를 추진 중이다.
미국 시장 확대를 본격화하기 위해, 딥벨로는 현재 와이앤아처가 주관하는 ‘2025 판교 글로벌 액셀러레이팅 프로그램’에 참여하고 있다. 이를 통해 미국 현지 시장에 대한 진입 전략을 구체화하고, 유통 및 파트너십 네트워크 확대를 가속화하고 있다.
딥벨로의 홍성욱 대표는 “신스마트 농법 기술은 고가의 장비와 인프라가 필요해 농가에 폭넓게 적용되기 어려운 반면, 조이코어는 기존 전통 농법과 최신 농업 기술 모두에 적용 가능한 범용 솔루션”이라며 “환경오염 유발 요소가 없어 지속 가능한 농업 생산성 향상 기술로 평가받고 있다. 향후 K-수처리 기술의 글로벌 확산에 앞장서겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다.

Deep Bell has introduced the eco-friendly and versatile water treatment equipment 'Joycore' by applying its self-developed water membrane permeability improvement technology to the agricultural field. The equipment has proven to increase productivity by an average of 30% in tests on over 30 crops at home and abroad, and in particular, in tests conducted on four legal hemp farms in the U.S., it recorded results of up to 43% increase in yield and 8% improvement in quality.
It has proven its commercialization potential by receiving evaluations from local farm officials as “amazing results.” DeepVelo is currently pursuing full-scale commercialization centered on various initial markets such as golf courses and smart farms.
In order to fully expand into the US market, DeepVelo is currently participating in the '2025 Pangyo Global Accelerating Program' hosted by Y&Archer. Through this, it is concretizing its entry strategy into the US local market and accelerating the expansion of its distribution and partnership network.
