인공지능(AI) 기반의 콘텐츠 IP 제작사 스튜디오메타케이가 한국투자파트너스 등으로부터 총 30억 규모의 시리즈 A (Series A)의 투자를 유치했다고 10일 밝혔다. AI 기술을 중심으로 한 디지털 콘텐츠 시장이 급격하게 성장하는 가운데, 한국투자파트너스의 이번 투자는 스튜디오메타케이의 AI 기술력과 창의력을 더욱 공고히 하는 계기가 될 것으로 기대된다.
이번 투자금은 첨단 AI 기술 개발뿐만 아니라, 기존 콘텐츠 제작 인프라 확충 및 글로벌 마케팅 전략 수립에도 사용될 예정이다. 스튜디오메타케이는 이를 통해 AI 기술을 활용한 드라마제작에만 그치지 않고 광고, 영화, 뮤직비디오, 버추얼 휴먼 등 다양한 분야로 사업 영역을 확대해 나갈 방침이다.
