AIDX(지능형 디지털 전환) 전문기업 ㈜스페이스뱅크(대표 이원희)는 지난 10일 서울 더플라자 호텔에서 열린 ‘K-휴머노이드 연합’ 출범식에 로봇 과제 기업으로 초청받아 참석했다고 밝혔다. 산업통상자원부 주관으로 열린 이번 출범식에는 안덕근 산업부 장관, 유홍림 서울대 총장을 비롯해 산·학·연 관계자 350여 명이 참석했으며 국내 휴머노이드 산업 생태계 조성과 기술 경쟁력 강화를 위한 협력 의지를 다졌다.
‘K-휴머노이드 연합’은 약 40여 개 로봇 제조사, AI 연구기관, 수요 기업 등이 참여하는 민관 협력 플랫폼으로, 정부는 2030년까지 공용 AI 파운데이션 모델 개발, 고사양 휴머노이드 로봇 상용화, 핵심 부품 국산화를 목표로 1조 원 이상의 민관 투자를 추진할 계획이다. 산업부는 생성형 AI를 넘어 물리적 인공지능(Physical AI) 시대로의 전환에 따라 글로벌 기술 경쟁에서 주도권을 확보하기 위한 국가 차원의 전략적 대응이라고 설명했다.
안덕근 산업부 장관은 “휴머노이드 분야는 올해 15억달러에서 2035년 380억달러로 10년 내 25배 성장이 기대되는 유망 산업이며, 우리 제조업의 미래 경쟁력과 직결된 산업”이라며 “휴머노이드 최강국을 위한 산·학·연의 협력에 정부도 전폭적인 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 스페이스뱅크는 Software Defined Robot(SDR) 기반 로봇 플랫폼 기업으로, 자체 개발 중인 ‘RoboViewX’ 플랫폼을 중심으로 R&D를 확대하고 있다. 현재 KIST, KETI 등 주요 연구기관과 협력하여 물류로봇, 병원 물류로봇, F&B 로봇, 사족보행 로봇에 SDR 플랫폼을 적용하고 있으며, 향후 휴머노이드 로봇 분야로의 기술 확장도 본격 추진할 계획이다. 이를 통해 AIDX 기술과 로봇 운영 플랫폼을 융합한 실용적이고 유연한 기술 혁신을 이어가고 있다.
이번 연합에는 리벨리온, DEEPX(반도체), SK온, LG에너지솔루션, 삼성SDI(배터리) 등도 참여하여, 고성능·저전력 AI 반도체와 고밀도 배터리 등 핵심 기술 협력도 강화한다. 정부는 AI 반도체 R&D를 포함한 대규모 투자로 기술 자립을 뒷받침할 방침이다. 또한 기술 개발과 산업 생태계 조성을 위한 공동 연구, 데이터 공유, 인재 양성, 실증 사업 등을 유기적으로 추진해 국내 로봇 산업의 전반적인 경쟁력 향상을 꾀할 방침이다.
이원희 스페이스뱅크 대표는 “AI와 로보틱스의 융합은 산업 전반의 패러다임을 근본적으로 변화시키고 있다”며, “SDR 플랫폼 ‘RoboViewX’를 기반으로 휴머노이드 로봇 분야까지 기술 영역을 확장해 글로벌 시장에서 경쟁력을 갖춘 기업으로 성장하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Space Bank attends 'K-Humanoid Union'
AIDX (Intelligent Digital Transformation) specialist Space Bank (CEO Wonhee Lee) announced that it was invited to the launch ceremony of the 'K-Humanoid Alliance' held at the The Plaza Hotel in Seoul on the 10th as a robot project company. The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy explained that this is a national-level strategic response to secure the initiative in the global technology competition as we transition from generative AI to the era of physical AI.
Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Ahn Deok-geun said, “The humanoid industry is a promising industry that is expected to grow 25-fold in 10 years, from $1.5 billion this year to $38 billion in 2035, and is directly related to the future competitiveness of our manufacturing industry.” He added, “The government will not spare its full support for cooperation among industry, academia, and research to make Korea the strongest humanoid country.”
Meanwhile, Spacebank, a robot platform company based on Software Defined Robot (SDR), is expanding R&D centered on its own 'RoboViewX' platform. Currently, it is applying the SDR platform to logistics robots, hospital logistics robots, F&B robots, and quadruped robots in cooperation with major research institutes such as KIST and KETI, and plans to actively expand its technology to the humanoid robot field in the future. “The convergence of AI and robotics is fundamentally changing the paradigm of the entire industry,” said Lee Won-hee, CEO of Spacebank. “Based on the SDR platform ‘RoboViewX,’ we will expand our technological area to the humanoid robot field and grow into a company competitive in the global market.”
Space Bank is implementing real-time integrated control in various fields such as smart cities and human care through its representative solution, 'AIoT Wright', and is further strengthening the platform's expandability and practicality through linkage with mobility IoT.
In addition, it has been recognized for its technological prowess and reliability as an AIDX (Intelligent Digital Transformation) specialist by obtaining the 1st grade in Cloud Security Certification (CSAP) and Software Quality Certification (GS).
